I first heard of 9 because of Ann-Ban! She forced me to watch that clip of the twins, and recorded me making fun of it. Then I went to see the movie with her later, and here I am!

I STILL have'nt seen coraline... dammit. *slaps self*...
Anyways, me and my frend Nick we very bored one day and decdied to go see a movie in theatres, but we did'nt know any movies, cuz we were'nt rly interested.
And so I went on IMDb.com
I looked up stuff, thought abt seeing district 9 (which i STILL have'nt seen EITHER *slaps self again*), but my dad was bitching abt it being R. Anyways, I continued to look... and I saw 9 trailer.
Now, I don't belive in coincedence, so I belive fate intended me to find this.
I remembered something abt it. Like deja vu, ya know? I had deja vu, of hearing abt this "9" movie somewhere, but I just could'nt figure it out.
So I click the trailer.
*Sits thru the Scientist talking sorta bored, but not enough to be called bored.*
"But life must go on"
Me: Huh?
*Welcome Home starts to play with it's badass riffs and 9 characters do all sorts of awesum actiony stuff*
Me: Eyes glued to the screen.
My friend's on the phone listening to this, and he's speechless as well.
(after unbelivably awesum trailer)
Me: Oh.. .Oh my god, dude we have to see that movie!
Nick: Dude... I know...(and this is just from listening to the trailer) When does it come out?
Me: *looks and sulks* 9-9-09.
Nick: rly? (laughs) that's cool. Good marketing. Gotta go. We culd see that later when it comes out. Sounds cool.
Me: Are you friggn kidding me? I would pay all my money (at the time I had a lot) to friggin see this right now!
Nick: that's nbice, Gotta go.
Ne: *looks up all the 9 stuff she can on internet, tellls everyone she knows abt it, and at the end of the day, somehow manages to have a folder dedicated to pictures of 9 saved on her desktop with over 100 photos.*
I. Was. Obsessed. No joke. I watched the trailer, short, and saved pics the whole rest of summer. And I cried when I sat in that theater watching it, chewing on a solid quatrz rock. (Not healthy, it turns out)
So, ya, there's my uber long story of how I came to be the obsessed fangrl I am today. *smiles* Ill go back to writing fics now... XP

*Welcome Home starts to play with it's badass riffs and 9 characters do all sorts of awesum actiony stuff* Me: Eyes glued to the screen. Haha, I had that same reaction. XD I had seen some stuff online for it beforehand so I was happy when I saw the trailer in theaters.

I read about it in someone's journal entry on Deviantart. I watched the short and I was pretty intrigued about it. As it got closer to coming out, I got super excited. When I saw it, I left the theater with this expression- And then a new obsession was born. XD

Wow, I feel a bit like a boob now... I just saw the trailers on TV one night. The one that said, "This is not your little brother's animated movie." Just watching a brief trailer of 9, I knew I had to see it. I turned to my mom and said, "That looks badass. Just plain... Badass."

There's two possible ways I heard of 9, I don't remember which one it was exactly D= So here's the two possibilities xD
1. ALL because of a journal on deviantART xD Usually I can't be bothered to read all the journals I get in my inbox, only the ones which grab my attention somehow from the title or whatnot. I almost didn't read this journal... but decided to check it out, talking about how AWESOME 9 looks to be. Had a link to the trailer, and again, I almost didn't click that 'cause I was kinda tired xD Once the trailer started I couldn't take my eyes off it, by the time it finished I was in awe 8U So I watched it a few more times, replied to that journal, and have been obsessed with it ever since.
2. In my deviations inbox on deviantART, I saw... a stamp, with three bright green 9s on it. I thought "Ooo what's that all about I wonder" So I clicked on it to read the description, which said how awesome 9 looks to be, and had a link to the trailer on youtube. The rest is the same as No.1, almost not checking out the trailer etc. And except I commented on the stamp about it, not a journal =d (And added it to my stamp faves / used it on my dA page xD)
And about 4 months later, I'm guessing, I got to see 9. After seeing it twice at the cinema, I by chance came across this forum while looking for as much 9 stuff on google as I could XD If it weren't for that person's journal/stamp, I would very likely have never heard of 9 at all, EVER D= So I feel very lucky I found it <3

I heard of "9" when I has searching for movies that Elijah Wood was going to do next. (because I am a huge fan). when I saw the information about it on wikepidia and learned it was off of a short film i immediately went looking for and found it on You Tube and was amazed by it. so then Iwaited and waited and waited for several months mabye even nearly a full year for them to release info of the trailer. and then one day I was looking on You Tube and the saw "9 Trailer" and immediately clicked it and let me tell you the wait was worth it.

Well, my story is a bit breif but let me begin
Now it is notable to mention that I have a deviantart, and due to my manic invader zim fannitude I have alot of artist on my watch-list which inevitably means that I had added azure-neon to my watch-list...well one day I was checking through all my updates and saw what to me at the time looked like tiny voo-doo dolls, well instantly cleared them out of the updates box I thiink I was in a hurry that day....
a few days (maybe a week but for the sake of the story lets say a couple a days) I was watching Sci-fi channel (I refuse to call it SyFy) sadly I can't remember what I was watching but thats beside the point I see this commercial it's very fast and I watched totally sucked in as it went something like this
(action)
This
(action)
is not
(Cat beast)
YOur little brothers
(The seamstress....this was the part that told me it was different)
Animated movie
after that I beleive it cut away to the 9-9-09 to which I was like... "what the hell was that?!" I was totally blown away wondering what it was I just saw luckily (I likewise beleive in fate to a certain degre) Fate made sure I didn't forget, and therefore another commercial was shown for it, this one had a little bit more detail to it, more cat beast, more seamstress, but! IT had the title and it was 9..I went "woah...I gotta see that." I looked it up and found out as much about it as I could, at this point I found out what the characters looked like and at that point instantly remembered the posts on azure-neons DA account and was like "Thats what those were!"...anyway I waited patiently for the movie to come out...I had to wait about a week or so after it came out to see and by then I knew the entire premise of the movie... it did not prepare me for how amazing it would be, nor did it keep me from nearly crying at 5 and 6's death scenes. The second I left the theater I had the same face that I had as when I saw Wall-e a the biggest 'woah that was epic' Face you could imagine...It was then I decided to Rip into the fandom and found this site and joined it and the rest is pretty much history from there...though sadly I lurk more than actively participate..but anyhow, That is how I found out about 9!

I am also obsessed with Lord of the Rings and Frodo and Elijah Wood, so I was looking up all the movies that Elijah Wood has been in and will be in, and I saw that one of them was called 9... "Hmm, what's 9? Looks interesting..." So I looked it up, watched the short, found the website, learned absolutely everything about it, was gradually blown away by its awesomeness, AND NOW I AM OBSESSED! XD

My brother went to see Land of the Lost and he saw the ad. Since I'm a Coheed and Cambria fan, he told me that he saw an ad with Welcome Home in it, so I looked up the trailer and watched it...about five times straight. And since then, it's been an obsession of mine. XD Now, of course, my brother's driven crazy by my nonstop talking about it.
