The El Dorado example was actually one of the FIRST ONES I thought of when I came up with the trope idea! Plus the part where the jaguar attacked and Miguel and Tulio screamed like girls and started running away - both are awesome examples of the trope! Oh, and I thought of another example: the Captain Underpants series, because George and Harold often say this: George: I've got a good idea. Harold: What? George: RUN!

A good villainous example for that one would be from The Princess Bride, when Inigo finally catches up with Count Rugen, and Rugen... runs the hell away.

just thought of another one! In Codename Kids Next Door Operation L.I.C.E, the doorway is surrounded by tons of the giant lice. Numbuh 2 asks Numbuh 1 what to do, and Numbuh 1 says quite bravely "Follow my lead." Then the scene switches to outside and you see Numbuh 1 exiting saying "RUN!" with everyone else right behind him.

And wow, seems like "Sometimes Fear Is The Appropriate Response is a lot easier to think up examples for!... Oh, I thought of another! In the Jimmy Neutron movie, Nick runs out to face the giant egg of Poultra, then Poultra starts hatching and her three eyes glare down at Nick... and he screams like a girl and runs away!

Hey, Sparrow. I've seen the Go Back To The Source page, and it's awesome! Buuuuut I've got a couple suggestions, if you'd have them. Not for examples, per say, but to make the page itself look better. I think that saying 9 is the Trope Namer both in the description and the examples is a little redundant, maybe nix the description one? In it's place, you could put a quote from the movie as the page quote, maybe 6's last words. I don't want to sound like I'm being pushy about your thing, I just thought of stuff.
And oh, the Sometimes Fear Is The Appropriate Response page idea sounds amazing as well. Again, I can't think of anything, but... yeah. Still awesome.

No, no, Socky, you're not being pushy at all! That's a great suggestion, actually! *goes to fix* tvtropes.org/pmwiki/discussion.php?id=x8g9zky6yj2lb7clfamjxguyAnd here is the link to the discussion thing for SFITAR. I think that you can even leave suggestions with the replies thing, even if you're not a TV Tropes member, so if non-trope-members can do that, and you feel like posting them there... go crazy! By the way, I also think there should be three Fear Response types (similar to the two types of Fridge Horror) - only screaming, only running away, and both at the same time. I'm trying to come up with a term for each one, but here's my ideas for titles so far: 1. Scream Like A Maniac - only screaming 2. Roadrunner Chase - only running 3. Target For Danger - screaming and running

You know, seeing that page for the fic makes me wonder what it would be like if Out There had a page on TV Tropes. *shot*

Yup, Anna, it is! Now we're working on Sometimes Fear Is The Appropriate Response!... which I might shorted to Fear Is The Appropriate Response - still a Trope Namer for 9, but with a more manageable title.

Mothy, I am late but... HGDHFDFJKHJKFDHJK AWESOME I think the second name sounds a bit better, a less long title is definitely the way to go here.
