Adonai may be "adorai" but I can't really tell.

Well, I know the first line translates roughly (or directly?) to "Transmute Life". The rest is guess work.
I think "adonai/adorai" means equip, or something to that extent, according to one online translator (I don't trust it...). But I heard once that it could be translated as "Lord", as in God, in Hebrew. I couldn't find a translation for the rest.

I didn't really notice this during any of the times I saw the movie, but I just noticed it now:
The penny that was put over 2's optics? That was the penny that was attached to 1's hat!

Yeah, "Adonai" is God, or the Lord, in hebrew. That's a definite. ESPECIALLY since it's repeated twice in a row like that. Hebrew Prayers tend to repeat the Lord's name like that often. Though, that makes me wonder: is that a prayer of some sort? Huh... maybe. My brother read this and thought that it may either a prayer or the book stating the the alchemist is akin to God (I mean, really, they kinda are like demi-Gods. No offense to any one...). But eh... I'm not really sure. |

=Shift/change(Nominative Noun) =Life(Genitive)
NOTE FOR THIS LINE: Tranmuta (the base of the above word) is a verb, but in this sentence is used as a noun.
Adonai. Adonai. Eie. Eie motor."
= Lord Eia= Ah! Moto=keep moving (present passive indicative singular)
NOTE FOR THIS LINE: Adonai is Hebrew. Eia is the real way to write Eie. I'm only in Latin II and we haven't covered passive yet.
Here's the whole thing translated:
Shift of Life
Lord. Lord. Ah. Ah, It is moving.
Overall, I think that the Latin was intentionally messy so that it looked old, but couldn't be read right off the bat.

If Adorai is used instead if Adonai, then it still makes sense, if you use the less literal definition.
Here's from my Latin dictionary:
Adore.a -ae noun (A gift of grain as) a reward for valor; glory, praise.
NOTE: They used Adorea as a male plural.
New translation:
Praise. Praise. Ah. Ah, it is moving.
OR
Glory. Glory. Ah. Ah, it is moving.
If someone could give me the next lines, I'll give it a go.

*The ones with the asterisks next to them are words I couldn't find.
I got:
Walk walk .... actually ... ..... from there
... .......... of free or lawful(?) how ...
NOTES: Bado is a verb meaning I walk, but the word was used as a noun with a nonexistent ending. Vel is a real Latin word meaning actually, even, perhaps, for instance, (as a conjuction) either, or, as you wish, take your pick. It all is based on context, which I don't have. Liculorum is actually licens, meaning free or unrestrained, or licet meaning lawful. These are both adjectives, but they used the word as a noun and gave it a genitive ending. The handwriting is hard to read so some of the letters could be of.
This is all I've got. If anyone has any other pictures of Latinish stuff from 9, just message me and I'll give a shot at translating.

I noticed something quite weird at the end of the film today. When 1 says "they left us nothing...nothing...", although you mostly only see his head from behind, his mouth still appears to be moving when he isn't speaking. ;^ I wonder if this means that he was originally scripted as saying something else, which was changed at the last minute...  |

Nice work, everyone! I'm amazed. Biffanomnom, your vid is remarkable. You guys caught a lot of things that initially missed me. I don't know if 1's seat was necessarily a whiskey bottle, though. It's unlabeled, and could just as easily contain gin. XD Also, 4, your Latin translation notes are incredible. You're living up to your namesake and then some. ^^ "Shift of Life. Lord. Lord. Ah, ah. It is moving." ...Sounds a lot like the making of a homunculus, don't you think? Either way, it's excellent work, 4. Exalts all around. Now, for my part.
