I was watching my (new and very good sound quality) copy of 9 and I noticed something I didn't hear before.
When 9 turns to the talisman and 5 and 2 are talking to 7, I can FINALLY understand what they were saying.
5: We did it, we did it. 2: Remarkable! I never thought I- *unintelligible whisper I can't understand*
2's voice also sounded different, probably because of the tone used.

I apologize for the double post, but... i50.tinypic.com/sb347t.jpgSee that date? Saturday, May 16, 1930. 1930!? Dude... That's a LONG time ago! Obvious, I know but... whoa! So if "Over the Rainbow" was released in 1939 in our time line and it was already out in 9's time line, then the world of 9, having the industrial revolution going strong and all, is actually about 10 to 15 years more advanced than ours was at the time. And with the B.R.A.I.N it looks like there was even more technological advancement. I'm going to guess that 1930 or 1931 was the year the scientist created the stitchpunks and some time after 1934-5ish was when 9 woke.

Heh, the article on the left side of the page is about No-Burn houses. Apparently they didn't work very well.

I think there was a moment of peace with the BRAIN for a few years, then it started attacking or something. You know, after it got to hear "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" because it was just so effin' excited to be able to kill one of the stitchpunks with that song. He was a big Wizard of Oz fan.

As long as you have Windows Movie Maker, just transfer the DVD file onto your comp, and you can split up the clips on the program

Going back to the tongue thing... yep, they has them. Trust me, I watched their mouth moments carefully and saw more than 15 instances where it looked like they had them.
I never noticed this before but everybody had some kind of thread tie on their arms EXCEPT 5. His burlap goes under a metal tube. I'm sure the artists noticed this but me? I overlooked it somehow.

Animation errors; this movie has them. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. Like, things so obvious you have to wonder, "How do you miss that?"
Also, if you watch their mouths all open and stuff, they just ain't there. That, and it's too damn creepy to think they have them. I mean, unless the Scientist wanted there to be some hot ragdoll pr0nz goin' on in his death, it seems rather pointless. And creepy. Really creepy. Like, I have nightmares about this it is so creepy to me. Maybe you could post a few of those instances? I just want to see if they could be animation error, because 15 isn't much. Not for me, at least.

Well, during the whole 9 telling 5 to save 2 part, I saw tongues three times. The winged beast scene had a couple, and the scene right before 9 goes to sacrifice himself has at least one. There are more but I can't remember where they were. There are probably more, but it is hard to see as the tongues only are noticeable during close ups of the faces.
The thing is, the tongues look like they're made of the exact same material as the stitchpunks. 9's is burlap and is the one I saw the most, but I saw the others as well. So it looks like they aren't there but they are. Kinda.
But you think what you want, and I'll think what I want. Agree to disagree and what not.

If the tounges are made of the same material as the stitchpunks themselves, then maybe the scientist just put it there so they can pronounce words correctly. Because you can't even correctly pronouce any of thier names without one(Seriosusly, trying saying 1 without your tounge. It's hard!)

Agree to disagree indeed!
Also, although this is a lame thing to notice, there's a small cut been made on 3 or 4's thumb... thing, that just dangles on their back. What's up with that?
