Watching the Winged Beast clip again, I'm sort of wondering about that plane. Its propeller seems to have been stitched together. Did the stitchpunks do that themselves for some reason? I can't see that sort of thing being an efficient air-conditioner, or even why they would need an air-conditioner at all. Also, there seems to be... cans or something sitting on the wings of the plane. What's up with that? 1 had his little "escape route" that way, right? He might have put some things out there to help him remember which way to go, or to help him get down from there? Until the winged beast came along, the plane was pretty steady ground. That's all I can think of. XD

Aha! I think I finally realized something that can be used in 9's defense! Everyone knows of the terrible scene where 9 is N00b enough to put the Talisman into the Fab Machine. Well, if you watch, 9 crawls up and sees the Cat beast digging through the rubble. When the Cat Beast gets ready to put it in the Fab Machine, 9 is gone. The Beast hears something, and goes to investigate. It turns out to be 9 and 5 trying to wrench the cage open. So... Perhaps 9 didn't SEE the Talisman with the Cat Beast at all! He didn't know that the Cat Beast had wanted to do exactly the same, and therefore could not have known that it was a bad thing! And also, during the twin scene, especially during the projection scene, does anyone else notice that 9's red thread disappears for a second?

9 does look away before seeing that, as I recall. And you're the third person to say that, about his red thread... I honestly don't see it. The movie does have a few animation glitches in it, so I wouldn't be shocked. It might also be the lighting.

Why would 2 have that weapon if it didn't do anything AT ALL. Seriously, I think they just wanted it in there just so it could be from the short, also it might have had to do with the way they were standing it was useless like iin the short he was attacked from behind so yeah. :/

Maybe he just didn't expect to be attacked from behind? 2 wasn't really supposed to be out in the emptiness alone, anyway. 1 made him go, and I guess he didn't want to be totally unarmed despite not being able to fight.

He didn't see the cat beast about to use it, he was just curious about this strange object he's seen since the moment he was born.

Makes me wonder why he made a weapon in the first place. Perhaps 2 was more capable of fighting in his younger years? Warrior 2; to beat the crap out of some Cat Beasts! Lawl. And about the 9/talisman thing... 2 did say way early in the movie, "Some things in this world, are better left a lie-" Great foreshadowing, ain't it? But 9 obviously wasn't listening then, 'cause he was too smitten with the stupid bug to listen to the old wisemaster of win. I mean really, if someone just woke up, they wouldn't be sticking things in slots every which way just 'cause they were curious. And I guess, in his defense, you could say he doesn't have much life experince, but seriously- curiosity killed the cat. Except replace 'Cat' with 'Stitchpunk', and make 'Stitchpunk' plural. I think it just shows 9's character for what it is- naive and innocent. He thinks the world is great- if someone says otherwise, he'll just say it's going to get better with hope. He's that one person that believes- even if the world is the worst slum ever and there is litterally no hope for anything- that's there's a way for rainbows and sunshine. Probably the biggest optimist on the team. You know, it's really a good lesson for people, 'cause sometimes you gotta know that just because you have hope, don't mean the world ain't gonna slap you if you do rash things. 9 learned that the hard way. Also seriously he should have listened to 2. I mean, really, that seemed like a pretty important lesson to be taught, especially after the one who taught it to you almost died. Stupid 9 not listening to 2. >:C

Stupid 9 not listening to 2. >:C How was 9 even to know the talismen should be "left where it lied" though? After all, 2 was pretty excited to see the talismen, perhaps 9 thought it was a good thing. I actually really like 9's character. It's kinda curious and hopeful, but he wasn't stupid, just uninformed. Besides, if he hadn't been curious, the fabrication machine ******WARNING SPOILER****** (Slashed out so it's more difficult to read at a glance) would've never been destroyed, and the rain would've never came. For all we know, the fabrication machine could've eventually been re-awakened by something else in the future(perhaps the cat beast would've found some other source of power to be used), and then they wouldn't have known in a advanced. The Fabrication machine coulda killed them all, and since they would be unaware that it had woken, it could've destroyed the talismen, they would have no way of destroying it, and their mission to protect the spark of human life would've failed. ******** Anyways, something I didn't notice in the movie at first, but later say after seeing it again was the fact 7 has a brown patch on the majorty of her back. It's sad I didn't notice that |D;

After 9 gets fixed, the number on his back is semi warped. 9 presses the sequence for the talisman wrong when he's showing 7, 1 and the Twins. xD FAIL. HUMANITY'S BEEN OVERSCREWED-!! ... The scientist puts little 'Pi' signs at the corners of his papers. :B My day was made. Sorry about the double post but.... ROFL I laughed at the whole sequence thing xD; I dunno- it seems a bit too... purposeful, the way it was just her number, like she was trying to cut it out, in a way to say to 1, "You don't own me- I am my own person." All the other scars she has are no where near that area, which wouldn't make sense, if it was an explosion. So I think she was just trying to push back against the infleuences that affected her so much- it's obvious she hates being ruled by 1. I would think that 1 (yes I know others have said this) was punishing her for "rebeling" Although, I'm too lazt to copy and paste this but, I like what someone else said about not wanting to be contained by her number, being free etc. But I really think it'd be hard to cut your own back...

Maybe the twins put the patch on her back, for her. XD I mean, they built that little elevator for themselves (I assume), so I don't think sewing would be much of a stretch.
As for 9 accidently waking up Mr. Fab... the guy was alive for, what...? 6 hours? I can't really hold it against him. Plus without him screwing up, the second half of the movie wouldn't have existed. XD

But maybe he could have screwed up in a way that was more... not so freaking retarded? Most people are born with a certain amount of common sense- perhaps a bit of fear in their heart. 9 did not have this fear, which got them all in this mess. Throughout the movie he lacked this fear. It was his greatest upbringing, and his greatest downfall. I don't hold too much against 9, but I do think, that if he ever really wants to lead, or to "Save Us All" he should start thinking before he acts. Leave the irrational, spontanious junk to 7. She does it without blowing everything up, anyways.
And on the subject of 7's scar, I still think she cut it out in the spur of the moment. Whatever made her that upset is up to you, but considering how lopsided it is, yet very... 'with a vengence'-esque, I think she did it herself to feel free. Then she realized that there was a giant hole in her back and perhaps that wasn't the best idea.

There was really no other way to wake up the fab machine, I'm afraid. Someone had to stick the talisman in there. XD 9 is a bit impulsive... and yes, it is his best and worst quality. But that's kind of the point of his character: He doesn’t know what's going on, and he wants to find out. He doesn’t have the same view of the world as the others do, because he hasn't been alive that long. That's not to say he didn't act stupidly, because he did... but I personally can't hate him for it.
I think 7 would have realized BEFORE ripping herself that a hole in the back was not a grand idea. XD!! Maybe she got it from the catbeast, and the twins healed her up? Someone needs to ask Shane about this in an interview. >=(

After seeing 9 in the cinema tonight (epic, btw ) I'm starting to wonder if the lack of sound from 1's staff that was mentioned earlier was really to do with the cinema's sound system. It tended to make quite a lot of noise in my showing, and seemed to jingle practically every time 1 moved while holding it.

Someone needs to ask Shane about this in an interview. >=( Perhaps she did, but remember how flammible 7's temper is, and how, in sense, she's even more impulsive then 9- especially when you get her really upset. She was fully prepared to kill 1 upon hearing it was HE who stole the last cookie from the cookie jar. Or tried to kill 2. Same dif. Oh gosh, there's actually a list of impulsive, angry things 7 has done, all usually relating to 1... so I would think it would be something 1 did to really piss 7 off that made her cut out her back. Maybe a mixture of being tired of waiting around or something. I actually have this whole story idea written out, I just need to draw it... 'cause you know. Can't have a comic without the pictures. Yup. Can't tell you my theory though because of that. Just know it's a really freaking good theory. It's why I stand by my 'cut it out herself' idea. Yup. Just that darn good. I swear. /shot
