Maybe the little ball inside the bell is sticky or something. Also, not sure if this is the right place, but the word 'stitchpunk' is never mentioned in the movie. If any of the numbered characters were asked what they were by, say, someone from a different world (crossovers ftw) how would they reply? "I'm not really sure, but I get the sneak suspicion that it doesn't really matter what I am, so long as I'm living." Or, at least, I guess that'd just be a character specific quote. I could kind of see 7 saying that, 'cause she don't have time fo' yo' physiowhatever questions. I suppose 'they' would reply with a shrug though. It's not like they know, all they know is that they're living, amirite?

I dunno if this was posted yet...
When 5 and 9 go down into the tunnel and 5 says his 'forget to remember to be scared" line, hanging from the ceiling of the tunnel is a sign with what appears to be Cyrillic-ish characters written on it.
Maybe the Emptiness is really-trashed-St.-Petersburg or something....

I have yet to confirm this though myself.

I actually bawled during the scene when 9 saw that clip of the scientist. The B.R.A.I.N. was making a really cute toy and when they tried to take the scientist away from it, it put it's arm on him as if it was saying "Don't leave me!' ;.; ...A toy?Now that's just depressing. Poor thing! ...I second that. A toy? I'm going to have to look for that when I watch the movie again, I never noticed. o.O;

I can't find a screenshot of it >=(
But seriously, that would make that scene even more depressing than before... The scientist (a former toy maker) teaching him how to make toys. Something totally innocent. The BRAIN could have done a lot of good, had he stayed with his creator.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this yet, but I noticed at the end that when the fires that consumed the posts holding the characters cloth names consumed the whole cloth, the character then would float to the sky. I realized this after watching the scene over and over again when I was trying to figure out a legitamite reason why 5 didn't go right away. At first I thought he wasn't ready but I noticed that after seeing that his cloth name had not yet been fully consumed when he looked at 9 I realized that, and then once he starts to take off you can see the cloth start to become full engulfed in the fire.
To those who have the movie downloaded, check it out, you'll see even with each character how they only take off after their cloth has been fully engulfed before they are free'd.

That's heartbreaking. ; _ ;

You asked for a screenshot? Here you go: I don't know about you guys... but it kind of looks like the beginning of a toy train or something like that.

Yeah, after all these viewings, I see the BRAIN as a small child that's been practically kidnapped away from his father. (I also kinda thought that, when the Scientist first "wakes up" the BRAIN, it kinda looks like its blinking, almost sleepily.)

Perhaps that is why it is so crazy- dem humans just made that shit real when they took his papa, and he ain't gonna put up with no crazy chanceller lookin' for no world domination 'cause when you steal his freaking toy trains he's going to beat you good. The more I think about it, I'm pretty sure the BRAIN wasn't all that evil. Now that I think about it, I think this was just his way of getting revenge- make people trust and believe, and when defences are down (And you got a buttload of robots) you strike. Something that enforces this belief is that when the BRAIN is being put into his big boy body, he looks absolutely terrified, and is squirming, and looking every which way, like he's almost saying, "What are you going to do to me? What's going on? Why are you doing this?"
I mean, now I just feel bad for Mr. Fab. Maybe he wanted a soul to be truly alive, and make his papa proud or something? Or maybe to carry out his fathers dream? God, now Fab doesn't seem like such a baddie. Nice going, 9.

Well, it's not the first time they've done something like this. Remember WALL-E, and all those Alternate Character Interpretations for AUTO?
So....okay, maybe the BRAIN wasn't pure evil, but he did get corrupted...we can agree on that, at least.

Watching the Winged Beast clip again, I'm sort of wondering about that plane. Its propeller seems to have been stitched together. Did the stitchpunks do that themselves for some reason? I can't see that sort of thing being an efficient air-conditioner, or even why they would need an air-conditioner at all. Also, there seems to be... cans or something sitting on the wings of the plane. What's up with that?

Well, it's not the first time they've done something like this. Remember WALL-E, and all those Alternate Character Interpretations for AUTO? -Points to self- OH! OH! ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO DO THAT- THAT WAS ME! I am completely proud of being one of the first AUTO fans. Unfortunantly BRAIN hasn't gotten that same love, although BRAIN is just Auto's Steampunk cousin. In fact, one of the main conversations that got everyone so excited for this movie of the Fanbase was the thought of a steampunk Auto, but I digress... I'm just saying, Auto was possesed with his desire to do what was best but not knowing how to do it, BRAIN was just kind of pissed. A bit of a difference. Also, on the topic of the plane, maybe 2 got bored, and wanted to see if it was possible? Perhaps that's why 5 knew what to do at that situation- because he helped with its repair. 2 seems like the type to get bored easily. 5 seems like the type to just help 2 out.
