I'm driving my entire family crazy. I bought some burlap to make a rag doll suit and my dad just rolled his eyes and said "you're crazy." I said "obbsessed." Man, I just have to think about 9 and I start grinning like an idiot.

OMG Same here! ... Ok, well not the burlap part, I can't sew very well. ^_^; But yes, at the very mention of 9 (both in and out of context) I grin insanely and chant 9 and talk about how awesome it is and I drive my parents up the wall lol!

Haha, while I wouldn't dare try to drive my family up a wall with my obsession, I'm pretty sure I do it to a friend. Whenever I so much as /mention/ 9, I see furious heat waves emanating from her. XD

Found the movie selecting the "Random" function on IMDb about 3 years ago and saw the short version. They were in the pre-production phase of the feature length at that time and since then,I had been (painfully) waiting for the trailer to come out.It finally came, sooner then I thought. And when I saw it on Apple Trailers in December for the first time...well...you know the feeling.

Saw it while in the theater for Coraline. Hehe, the freakin' amazing music (it's Co&Ca, right?) grabbed my attention immediately. I look to my boyfriend and he's grinning, too. Was only last night that he mentioned the movie again and I remembered. This movie looks amazing, I'll be happy to go and see it. (I thought it would be out this summer, though, d'oh! A month or two longer to see it than expected.)

I forgot to tell the world how I found out about 9! *gasps after reading all posts*
January 26, 2009 (yes, I wrote down the date)
I was researching for story ideas on Tim Burton, because I'm going to be a filmmaker/writer/artist whenever I'm out of college. I was looking at his Alice and Wonderland ideas, and I thought they were so-so, and was begging for something new and exciting to come out. So I come across that he's involved in a story named 9...
Back in December 2008, I thought "What the heck... sounds really bland." So a month later, I decided to look at the trailer. (Jan. 26, 2009) In the opening, I was already stunned by the animation and was wondering if it was live-action or CGI (I thought it was super realistic).
Suddenly, Welcome Home blasts in the background and all these scenes flash before my eyes. It was love at first sight. The reason I started like 9 was because of 6's few appearances in the trailer. I was like, "A story with odd-looking creatures being chased by ferocious beasts? YEAH! This is what I've been waiting my whole life for!"
When I found out they were rag-dolls, I just about freaked out, because I'd been working on a story about rag-dolls as well for about four years now. I thought it was awesome, and ever since then, I've been dividing my time to 9, my stories, and school.
And now we've got four and a half months to go.

I first heard of this at a convention awhile ago..But I first saw the trailer, on the big screen anyway, during The Fast and Furious two days ago...Was really cool.

My story's just about the same as Final's : D Except I actually was put off by Welcome Home, so it took me a second time to watch the trailer. Aaaand I didn't read the whole synopsis and thought it was about aliens at first. -___-

LOL when I first saw them, I was like "What in the world are they? Are they little mole digging creatures?" Who knows why I thought that.
I thought they were the cutest things ever though. When I found out they were rag-dolls, I smacked myself and realized that made more sense.

I used to be very involved with timburtoncollective.com, and I first read that Tim would be producing some movie called simply "9". Nothing else. I got intruiged and saw the short, and then I found the trailer for it in front of Coraline 3D. I was hooked.

I think I'll reiterate just for the heck of it (:
Koh saw the trailer and told me, and then she joined the site and told me, and then she started obsessing, so I watched the trailer and clip and joined the site (:
