Our Solemn Hour, by Within Temptation. (getting lyrics soon)
Amerika, by Rammstein. Now that one has a story behind it...
Right before I saw Monsters vs Aliens, which is where I saw the first trailer, my friend Faith (who saw 9 with me) showed me this song. And I heard it again today, and it totally reminded me of 9. XD [/size]

For some odd reason the song "So What" by Ministry reminds me of 9. I can just see a slightly creepy AMV to it already. OH. And even BETTER is the song "Magic" by Pamella Lillard. Actualy, there's a video with the 9 trailer to Magic already. Here's the link if anyone cares: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEIWHI_bwfk

Came across "Pardon Me" by Weezer when shuffling through my iPod and OH MY does it remind me of 9 O8 9 specifically about how he was to be almost perfect, but not quite, and how his mistakes caused the deaths of so many of the other stitchpunks.
So I apologize to you And to anyone else that I hurt too I may not be a perfect soul But I can learn self-control So pardon me, pardon me pardon me my friend
I never thought that anyone Was more important than the plans I made But now I feel the shame There's no one else to blame For all the broken hearts are scattered on the field of war
Seriously, when I heard this song I was like "....Duuuuudddeeee D8 That fits perfectly *eerie music*"

Nickelback - If Today Was Your Last Day Lyrics
My best friend gave me the best advice He said each day’s a gift and not a given right Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind And try to take the path less traveled by That first step you take is the longest stride
If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late Could you say goodbye to yesterday? Would you live each moment like your last? Leave old pictures in the past Donate every dime you have? If today was your last day
Against the grain should be a way of life What’s worth the prize is always worth the fight Every second counts ’cause there’s no second try So live like you’ll never live it twice Don’t take the free ride in your own life
If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late Could you say goodbye to yesterday? Would you live each moment like your last? Leave old pictures in the past Donate every dime you have? Would you call old friends you never see? Reminisce of memories Would you forgive your enemies? Would you find that one you’re dreamin’ of? Swear up and down to God above That you finally fall in love If today was your last day
If today was your last day Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart? You know it’s never too late to shoot for the stars Regardless of who you are So do whatever it takes ‘Cause you can’t rewind a moment in this life Let nothin’ stand in your way Cause the hands of time are never on your side
Swear up and down to God above That you finally fall in love If today was your last day
~~~
I dunno', I could see an AMV made to this song XD
Some genius put "Locking Up the Sun" by Poets of the Fall to 9, and I've been thanking them ever since. Seriously, the song fits PERFECTLY, especially the last two lines. ;D They're locking up the sun, the light of reason gone, n' hope has been succesfully undone The question's burning on, where is it coming from, no-one seems to know the monster born
It's a bad trip on a sinking ship, when no-one seems responsible Scapegoat to rock the boat, yeah, we need someone expendable Volunteers to face the fears, can we be sensible And find a way to break the fall, find out the cure for all
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime
They're locking up the sun, they have their chosen one, you know this time they'll make him play along They're taking to the arms, the fathers and their sons, there's nowhere left to run and hide
It's a bad trip on a sinking ship, when no-one seems responsible Scapegoat to rock the boat, yeah, we need someone expendable Volunteers to face the fears, can we be sensible And find a way to break the fall, find out the cure for all
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime
And in the emptiness, there's a solution, just look within yourself for absolution
And then there's 'Take It All Away' by Red, which. IMO, really should have been the theme song for 9. You've stripped me down, the layers fall like rain It's over now, just innocence and instinct still remain You watched me while I slowly disappeared I reached for you to save me, you were frozen in your fear
Take it all away [x4]
Circling the pain inside my soul I reached inside your silence to steal what you won't show I tried to find the answers in my fears But what was found is lost again as soon as it appeared
Take it all away [x4]
I'm breaking; I can't do this on my own Can you hear me screaming out, am I all alone?
You take away [x10]
And for those of you who want to hear the song, here is the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAHCsyOb3Rc
I think Top of the World by The All-American Rejects would be a great song for the relationship between 1 and 9. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_ERcr5z0zs&feature=related <<< To listen, and sing-along with the lyrics if you'd like. I've heard that 1 doesn't trust 9 at all, and he'll think the lil' guy will screw it all up. (which he does... ^^; ) But I still think the song would be great for their rocky-not-trustworthy relationship. Gotta see the movie NOW.
" Viva la Gloria" by Green Day works great for any badass female, but it fits 7 really well in particular. "You've found a home in all your scars and ammunition You've made your bed in salad days amongst the ruins..." And... I have no idea why " Kiss Off," by Violent Femmes makes me think of 6. Maybe because the singer seems rather neurotic. "Eight, eight, I forgot what eight was for..." And I'm willing to tack Juno Reactor's " Mutant Message" onto any damn thing it fits even vaguely because it's just such a great, creepy song.
U+Ur Hand by Pink for 7. Makes sense, cause when you think about it, she lives with 6 other guys(not including the twins).
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh Check it out Going out On the late night Looking tight Feeling nice It's a cock fight I can tell I just know That it's going down Tonight At the door we don't wait cause we know them At the bar six shots just beginning That's when dick head put his hands on me But you see
I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really want to mess with me tonight Just stop and take a second I was fine before you walked into my life Cause you know it is over Before it began Keep your drink just give me the money It's just you and your hand tonight
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh
Midnight I'm drunk I don't give a fuck Wanna dance By myself Guess you're outta luck Don't touch Back up I'm not the one Buh bye Listen up it's just not happening You can say what you want to your boyfriends Just let me have my fun tonight Aiight
I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really want to mess with me tonight Just stop and take a second I was fine before you walked into my life Cause you know it is over Before it began Keep your drink just give me the money It's just you and your hand tonight
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh oh Break break break Break it down
In the corner with your boys you bet up five bucks To get at the girl that just walked in but she thinks you suck We didn't get all dressed up just for you to see So quit spilling your drinks on me yeah
You know who you are High fivin, talkin shit, but you're going home alone arentcha?
Cause I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really want to mess with me tonight Just stop and take a second I was fine before you walked into my life Cause you know it is over Before it began Keep your drink just give me the money It's just you and your hand tonight (It's just you and your hand)
I'm not here for your entertainment You don't really want to mess with me tonight Just stop and take a second I was fine before you walked into my life Cause you know it is over Before it begans Keep your drink just give me the money It's just you and your hand tonight Yeah oh
This song reminds me of 7 trying to convince the other stitchpunks that hiding is useless: Garth Brooks' "Standing Outside the Fire"
We call them cool Those hearts that have no scars to show The ones that never do let go And risk the tables being turned
We call them fools Who have to dance within the flame Who chance the sorrow and the shame That always comes with getting burned
But you've got to be tough when consumed by desire 'Cause it's not enough just to stand outside the fire
We call them strong Those who can face this world alone Who seem to get by on their own Those who will never take the fall
We call them weak Who are unable to resist The slightest chance love might exist And for that forsake it all
They're so hell-bent on giving ,walking a wire Convinced it's not living if you stand outside the fire
Standing outside the fire Standing outside the fire Life is not tried, it is merely survived If you're standing outside the fire
There's this love that is burning Deep in my soul Constantly yearning to get out of control Wanting to fly higher and higher I can't abide Standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire Standing outside the fire Life is not tried, it is merely survived If you're standing outside the fire
Standing outside the fire Standing outside the fire Life is not tried, it is merely survived If you're standing outside the fire
Honestly the song "Never too late" reminds me of 9 Like how 1 was always like "No it's too late!" And yet 9 was always ignoring him and going anyways I think it would fit perfect in his point of view. Lyrics: This world will never be what I expected And if I don't belong who would have guessed it? I will not leave alone everything that I own To make you feel like it's not too late, it's never too late
Even if I say it'll be alright Still I hear you say you want to end your life Now and again we try to just stay alive Maybe we'll turn it all around 'cuz it's not too late, its never too late
No one will ever see the side reflected And if theres something wrong, who would have gussed it? And I ever left alone everything that I own To make you feel like it's not too late, it's never too late
Even if I say it'll be all right Still I hear you say you want to end your life Now and again we try to just stay alive Maybe we'll turn it all around 'cuz its not too late, it's never too late
The world we knew won't come back The time we've lost can't get back The life we had won't be 'cuz I -I'm not so sure what he says here-
This world will never be what I expected And if I don't belong
Even if I say It'll be all right Still I hear you say you want to end your life Now and again we try to just stay alive Maybe we'll turn it all around 'cuz its not too late, it's never too late Maybe we'll turn it over 'cuz its not too late, its never too late It's never too late It's not too late, it's never too late
I might be a little off for some of them but for the most part there are the lyrics X3 And ignore the parts where it says "Still I hear you say you want to end your life"
That's not like 2 XD
Something for 5... about 5... etc. *^^* (<3) www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC89ovVdpDY&feature=related"Lullaby" by Josh Groban Lyrics: Hush now baby don't you cry Rest your wings my butterfly Peace will come to you in time And I will sing this lullaby Know though I must leave, my child That I would stay here by your side And if you wake before I'm gone Remember this sweet lullaby And all love through darkness Don't you ever stop believing With love forlorn With love you'll find your way My love The world has turned the day to dark I leave this night with heavy heart When I return to dry your eyes I will sing this lullaby
"Shut Up" by Simple Plan is a 6 & 9 song to me. They are singing it to 1. Requiem for a Dream Remix Lotus by Jalan Jalan That's Life by Frank Sinatra - All of the Stitch punks really. But I picture 2, 5, 6 & 9 enjoying it a little more. Happy Go Lucky Me - by Paul Evens reminds me of 6 Holiday - by Green Day. I'm making an AMV to this one, so keep an eye out for it! :3 The Warrior by Patty Smyth reminds me of 7 Partical Man & Istanbul by They Might Be Giants reminds me of 2, 5 & 9... For some reason. XD Simply Irresistible by Robert Palmer (Totally my 7/9 song.) Son of Man by Phil Collins Reminds me of all the Stitch punks... and Welcome (To our family) by Phil Collins (From Brother Bear) reminds me of all of the Stitch Punks. Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi - 7 & 9
Actually the "The Scientist" by Coldplay fits the actual Scientist character pretty well. I feel like he could be singing it to his stitchpunk creations about the mistakes he made and how much he loves them.
This part especially: I was just guessing At numbers and figures Pulling the puzzles apart
Questions of science Science and progress Do not speak as loud as my heart
"Look Through My Eyes", by Phil Collins, reminds me a lot of 6! Once 9 comes out on DVD, I'm going to make a video with that song about him and these characters:
- Emma and Noah (from the movie "The Last Mimzy")
- Caleb and Abby (from the movie "Knowing")
- Aang and Katara (from Avatar: the Last Airbender)
- Lucy (from the movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe")
And a video of all of those (including 6) for the song "Wunderkind" too, since various parts of those songs fit each of them!
