It will most likely be destroyed, or at least rendered incapable of doing much damage.
In the trailer in the scene where it gets shelled at point-blank range, it's already visible that something else did quite a bit of damage to it. It's other arm seems to be torn off almost completely, and getting a dose of heavy explosive to the face should complicate matters further.
But it has that notorious knack of re-building and modifying itself, so who knows...

There might be more than one fabrication machine

There might be more than one fabrication machine YEEK! Then again, hopefully there would just be one. However, what does it do with the souls it captures from the dolls? The Cat Beast in the short simply put them in a canister as a trophy. The Fabrication Machine looks as though it has another possible use for the souls aside from keeping them as trophies or keepsakes.

Seeing as Shane refers to it as "The Fabrication Machine, the one that makes all these beasts," I would assume there's only one. And thank goodness for that...

i think its gonna "die" on the bridge collapsing...and then appear later in a hevily damaged, last-leg(no pun intended) state in the scene where it chases 5....catches him and subsequently kills him...

That would be intense. I suspect that much of the final act will be the stitch-punks trying to evade B.R.A.I.N. as much as they can.

Hey, does anyone besides me believe that Fabricator is the only machine with the ability to steal souls? If that's true, then 2's death (assuming it's witnessed by the others) indicates that the stitch-punks come in contact with him much earlier then I had previously imagined.

If thats true then in the new trailer 2 when 9s fixing his light staff and The fabrication machine comes could be earlier in the film then we think

sorry for the double post, but...is this a find? it is the same arm that lifts him up from his "pose" as the words "science has turned against us" are spoken in the last pic i posted in here...it is connected to the wall somewhere offscreen...now this is just a theory...but are b.r.a.i.n and the fabrication machine two seperate automatons? because in the scientist's latest update he sais that b.r.a.i.n has created a smaller atomaton in its likeness...perhaps the fabrication machine is just a detachable extention of the B.R.A.I.N made to create other robots, since we see it working on both the walkers AND the smaller robots...p.s. all the monsters are "in its likeness" in a way since they all have the red eye with the same style of shutter...this pic makes it look like it runs off into the wall...but if you watch the trailer agian an watch behind it and around it as it moves...youll see really clearly

I'm assuming that the Fabrication machine was always connected to the wall and has to drag itself around to move. Notice when we see it fall on the bridge there's a large piece of it resting on stable ground?
Anybody else wondering why it has the flag in front of it in the trailer? I have a theory that one of the last acts that humans were able to do was turn the factory, and the Fabrication machine, off (throwing the flag over it as a sign of victory), but somehow 9 and anyone that was with him in the factory accidentally turned the place back on. Then 7 saying, "We awakened something" would refer to the big bad machine.
