What characters remind you of the stitchies? Better yet, what characters do the stitchies remind you of? Here we go: 1:....That old penguin dude from Happy Feet. Religious, defying of the main character, very afraid of a change and usually blames it on them. (Mumble and 9) 2: Mufasa. Doesn't last long, but he sacrifices his life to protect 9, kinda fathers him in a way :3 3 and 4: I dun't...know...:< I can't think. 5: For some reason...Flounder :3 6: EDWARD SCISSORHANDS! 7: Neytiri :> 8: Reminds me of the rhinocerous guard from Kung Fu Panda 9: Mumble and Frodo. Nothing else to say here :> Mr. Fab: Auto from WALL-E (They look so alike!!)

Here's my thing:
1: Reminds me of Frollo. I really don't know... 2: Reminds me of that principle guy from Clannad. Offers you bits of advice, he's kindhearted and is a very minor character. 3 and 4: Plusle and Minun. Their cute, shy, curious and full of energy. Nuff said. 5: ...I've got nothing. 6: Smeargle from Pokemon and Edward Scissorhands. Their both artists, they have an excellent tool/s for creating stuff, their eccentric, and only one has unruly hair. 7: Nausicaa from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, most definetely. 8: ...I've got nothing. 9: Pikachu! He's friendly, kindhearted, curious and will do anything you ask him to do.

I don't have much of a list, but I do have two things that occurred to me.
Mr Cleg (Spider) reminded me a lot of 6 when I first watched the movie. You'd have to remove all his creepiness by the end to make it work, but he did remind of 6 in spite of that because he was very quiet (In fact, I think he only speaks clearly twice in the entire thing, and one of them might have been a line dubbed over by Gabriel Burn- makes sense in context- so that doesn't count) and liked to keep to himself.
And Yusuf (Inception) is 8. Not in terms of personality, but in the impact they left on the audience. Dileep Rao doesn't appear in any of the trailers, and doesn't get a mention on the poster, while Michael Caine does, and he only had at most two scenes. Caine was awesome in those scenes but considering he got billing, I was expecting more of him.
Both Yusuf and 8 are essential to the story of the movies they're in because they fill in a role that's necessary and can't be easily shared among another character, but they aren't as highly remembered because of other characters doing cooler things around them (i.e- 7's ninja skills are like Arthur's fight in a hallway that is constantly shifting gravity). And that's a darn shame.

1 = I dunno, but he really reminds me of Crank from Robots. ^^; I guess it's because it's comfirmed that both are scared to do anything but hide, and they're both unsure about the new guy. 2 = He reminds me of Muffassa from The Lion King. Both needed more screentime and are very wise. 3 and 4 = The siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp. Curious and wrecking things out of curiosity. XD; 5 = For some reason, he reminds me of Pleakly from Lilo and Stitch. Don't as why, but it's more than just the one eye, I swear. 6 = For some reason, he reminds me of Ravenpaw from Warriors. 7 = Mulan. Both kickass warriors. Enough said. 8 = THE PILLSBURY DOUGHBOY. -shot- 9 = Fireheart from Warriors. Both are heros.... I suck at this XD

For some reason, 8 reminds me of either Patrick from Spondgebob or the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.

I agree, Crispy! XD Good point.
1 reminds me of Charles Muntz, not just because they have the same VA, but because they're both VERY fixed on what they want/need to do, and won't let anything stand in their way.
2 reminds me of Oogway from Kung Fu Panda. He's wise, humorous, and is helpful in any way he can be. ^^
3 and 4 are like the twins from Everybody Loves Raymond (who actually go to my school, and let me tell you, they look the same-- so cuuuute!).
5 is like Marshall from How I Met Your Mother. He's sweet, dorky, very smart, but still seems like an idiot with his silliness. He's also the main character's best friend, which is quite fitting. ^^
6 reminds me of Edward Scissorhands, much like PROSA mentioned. He's quirky, odd, has insane hair, and cuts hedges, much like 6's art.
7 is DEFINITELY Nausicaa as you said, Pazam, I totally agree. She's kick-ass, but still sweet. And falls for the dork.
8 reminds me of Buck from 8 Below. I know it's odd to say he reminds me of a dog, but c'mon. "All brawn and absolutely no brain, but we love him." 'Nuff said. ^^
9 is like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon. Why? Because he's awkward, dorky, in love with the warrior girl, and gets into something that he really should not have. Amiright?

1: he reminds me of Nero and count Olaf from series of unfortunate events... for some strange reason :/ 2:quite a few for some reason, bugsy (valiant), Mr Poe (lemony snicket), violet (lemony snicket), mufassa (lion king), baloo (jungle book), and kristofferson (fantastic Mr fox movie) and i have no idea why :S 3 and 4: well first of all they remind me of my two best friends who are both twins, and they also remind me of the two quagmire triplets form lemony snicket (yes there is two triplets, until later in the series) 5: pleeklie (lilo and stitch), mike (monsters inc), mater (cars), ron Wesley (harry potter),fishlegs (how to train your dragon books), Bernard (the rescuers) and dory (nemo) again, i have no idea why :/ 6: edward scissorhands, andy wahol (the artist), the little lizard thing from the rescuers down under that says 'get the keys' a lot, and red from cars 7:sally (cars), gloria (happy feet), the captain from treasure planet, mulan, jessie (toy story) and crista from fern gully, basically all the powerful girls 8: winnie the pooh, and my guy friend who is really stupid sometimes. 9: mumble (happy feet, OMG HE HAS THE SAME VOICE ASWEL!) lightning mcqueen(cars), nemo, hiccup (how to train your dragon), and stan from south park yeah, me and my friends have a lot of inside jokes about the film, mostly based on the insane doodles that i waste lessons drawing

9 is like Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon. Why? Because he's awkward, dorky, in love with the warrior girl, and gets into something that he really should not have. Amiright? *EXALT* Night, you are SO right it's not even funny. XDDD 9 is, like, completely like Hiccup! Wow, I can't believe I never thought of that before. *headdesk*
Now for my own look at things...
1 and 2 remind me of the two uncles in Secondhand Lions. They might not be exactly the same, but I can totally see 1 and 2 sitting out on their porch with their guns, occasionally having some small talk together, like I've said in the Pairings thread before.
3 and 4... kind of like the meerkats in Lion King 1 1/2. It was mentioned in the artbook that meerkats were used for inspiration for the twins, and I think they hit dead on.
5... hm, 5... he does really actually remind me of Dory from Finding Nemo, like lucycupcake said. If you think about it... they're both kind of shy and awkward and you just can't help but love them because of it.
6... I've got nothing for 6. I've never seen Edward Scissorhands sooo... *dodges bullets* And I can't think of anything else for him.
7 ACTUALLY reminds me of Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon. They're both the tough warriors of their "tribe" and they've both got a dorky goofball totally falling over his own feet for them so... yeah. XD
8... a brick wall. *shot* No, I'm kidding, I've got nothin' for him either.
9, obviously, I agree with Night with the whole Hiccup thing for the exact same reason that she stated above. They're, like, almost exactly the same, it's crazy.

XD Why thank you, Taylor! It'd just be rather hard to imagine 9 riding a dragon, though, or even having the courage to stand up to one. XD He had a hard enough time with the CSM.
*EDIT* Oh look, 1,000th post. X3

Well, here's my best shot! :.3 1: Like P.R.O.S.A said, he reminds me of Noah the elder from Happy Feet. This is also interesting because Noah and Mumble have a similar conflict in HF, enough to where Mumble is banished for being a "nonconformist" but has to stand up for what's right. 2: Sort of reminds me of a mentor character like Obi Wan Kenobi in the older Star Wars. I know he isn't around that much in the movie, but he's evidently quite a mentor to 5. 3 and 4: Hehe, they remind me of a couple things. Thing 1 and Thing 2 from "Cat and the Hat" come to mind as well as the retarded unicorn twins from "Charlie the Unicorn", but the latter being only as a spoof comic I wrote. stars-snowflake.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2ov2995: Just about any character that represents the common man, so that's a tough one. 6: Simon from "Lord of the Flies". If you haven't read this yet, just wait. Simon and 6 are both oracles, both quiet, and both die knowing something that their comrades don't...not to mention the slaughters they both observe! 7: If Native-American images don't pop into your mind with her, I don't know what does. Neytiri also comes to mind, but not quite so wild. 8: Oogie Boogie by design standards (they look alike!) His voice lso makes me think of *gets shot* Patrick Star from Spongebob. lol! 9: This is the toughest one of all for me. I like 9's character and it's nice that he has a role that isn't so defined as the others. You don't look at five minutes of 9's life and say, "His reason for being is to..." I genuinly can't find a character that best fits him.

Well, I'm going to love this thread! 5= Zuko from Avatar. Don't ask me why. XD Also, Shippo from InuYasha, because those two are both a little scared. XD 6= Quassimodo from Hunchback of Notre Dame. Probably because, as my friend put it, they're both artists who live in the top of a church. Edward Scissorhands also comes to mind. 9= Jim Hawkings from Treasure Planet! I have no idea though. 7= Sango from InuYasha

5= Zuko from Avatar. Don't ask me why. XD Now that you mention it, 2 is totally Iroh to 5's Zuko. Going into Avatar: The Last Airbender, 1 I kinda see as the Fire Lord. -shot- 2 is Iroh, obviously. But is 7 Top or Katara? cause she's totally both ...ish. XDD and 9 is Aang.. XD

And she has that motherly aspect. XDD And she's a total ninja. XDD Huh. Now I'm debating whether or not to post this other thing I've noticed for the first Silent Hill game, I would post it but it'll lead to weird pairings, I'm sure of it.
