(the thumbnail images lead to the full-sized image. If Photobucket asks for a password, my guest password is "password69") Okay, so I'm a nerd and went off on a search for what songs are in 9 and playing on the radio on 9experiment.com. "Over the Rainbow" from The Wizard of Oz is easy to recognize. The record its on says "Matilda Ballet Classics", which as far as I can tell doesn't actually exist. The record sleeve is seen behind 5 and 6 during the "souuund!" bit, as well. On the radio, channel B700 is "Turn Off Your Light, Mr. Moon Man" from a 1911 Broadway musical called Little Miss Fix-ItA650 is "Follow the Crowd" by Irving Berlin, and dates back to 1914 A800 is "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" and has been performed by many people (even by Julie Andrews in a 70's musical!) but it was written back in 1912. And after spending waaay too much time trying to find this song, B900 is "Song of the Wanderer" performed by Helen Humes, and is from around 1927. Of course, there are lots of other songs on the radio, but they don't have words, so I can't look them up. And I still have no idea who this lady is, or if the record cover is real! And for some stupid reason this is really starting to bother me! The only thing I can make out on the cover is "[something] Lost!" "[something]isello" Maybe you guys would have better luck finding out if its real?

Hah! Nice researching on the songs. XD I always thought the record lady was just... random/fictional. If another record you looked up is not real, then it's safe to say that one isn't, either.

Hey, good info and research there Mokyn, I love the song 'tipperary' and 'follow the crowd'.
Sorry but I don't know who that lady is I thought she may look like Judy Garland but I guess not.

The lady on the record cover must be Judy Garland. It would really be nice if it was her, to tie in with "Over The Rainbow". Also, I've found a record cover that's oddly similar to the one with the mystery lady: Its not exactly the same as the cover of the record in the movie(they probably had to draw it somewhat different for copyright reasons or whatnot), but look closely at the mystery lady and Judy Garland's hair, eyes, lips, etc... I think the mystery lady just might be her.

Oh! That looks very similar It would make sense, too... since the record was playing on the record player at the time; It had to come from somewhere. I guess that somewhat-officially makes 5 a Judy Garland fan. XD

I want to know what hums 6 when framing him after the 5 and 9 left the room?

6 is humming Dies Irae, I think. That's what's credited at the end, and is performed by Crispin Glover. I'm not sure what version he hums, since the Mozart and Verdi versions seem too fast paced, at least from what I've heard of them. Wikipedia doesn't even specify, it just says, "In a scene from the film 9, the character 6 is introduced humming a part of the tune."
Awesome job on finding a possible record cover, Basch!

is a little hard to recognize so slowly, But you can give it a try... I found this gregorian version www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fMHms5Cvswthis is very likely And this version by Mozart www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1C-GXQ1LdY&feature=relatedAh! Mokyn. congratulations on research you've done. especially the songs on the radio I think I'll go look at the library (there is an area full of CDs to search) I also think the woman on the cover is Judy Garland... but could also be a more singer / actress of that period.
