Hey everyone! Well, I was browsing around Huffington Post today and found this very interesting article! It basically about a diagram that can pinpoint a certain person's personality by the numbers 1-9. And of course I couldn't help but notice the parallel with this lovely board so I decided to share it with you all!
In terms of the 9 personality traits in this Enneagram (as they are called) and the characters in "9," there is definitely some similarities, and some that are maybe off (particularly numbers 4 and 6, which should be reversed!). The list goes on like this:
Type One-Reformer. Their focus is to make the world 'right' in their eyes. They are conscientious, principled and can be very purpose-driven.
Type Two-Helper. Their focus is to take care of others needs in an effort to feel loved and accepted. They are generous, empathetic and can be very humble.
Type Three-Achiever. To be perceived as successful in the eyes of others is their goal. They are assertive, like to be the best, and have a focus on winning.
Type Four-Individualist. Artistic, with an eye for beauty, this type is highly attuned to their own emotions and that of others. They are the consummate romantic and can retreat into their inner fantasy world.
Type Five-Investigator. With a passion for knowledge/ideas, and an ability to focus along with a keen intellect this type is a visionary, able to articulate whole new paradigms. They have also earned a reputation as the 'absent-minded' professor.
Type Six-Loyalist. Full of courage and ability to stay the course, this type is trustworthy and self-reliant. When not filled with doubt they are very decisive and committed.
Type Seven-The Enthusiast. Joyful, playful and spontaneous this type has an ability to savor the richness of the world. If not distracted or scattered, they have huge potential for accomplishment.
Type Eight-The Challenger. Intensity! They are self-determining, big-hearted and powerful. At times their need for control can be overwhelming.
Type Nine-The Peacemaker. Peace and harmony is the driver for a Nine. At their best they are patient, unpretentious and have the ability to recognize the highest potential in others.
This seems like alot of fun! Judging by the information given I think I'm a 4 with hints of 7. How about you all???

Also, you can take the online test here.www.9types.com/newtest/homepage.actual.html
We had a little discussion on IMDb few months ago about this.I'm lazy to waste 2 minutes on retyping what I've said back then so I'll just gonna copy-paste.
Having a bit of knowledge in human psychology,I can tell you The Enneagram,Jung,Global Five tests (they are called objective tests in psychoanalysis) are less reliable (excepting perhaps, the more complex Myres-Briggs Type Indicator) and are not considered diagnostic tools, although they are easier to interpret by specific standards and even believed to be more reliable.
The real deal are the projective tests (Rorschach Inkbot,Thematic Apperception) but only if they are analyzed by an experienced psychologist or therapist. They rely on what Sigmund Freud calls the unconscious part of the human brain and on the process that take place there, uninfluenced by our conscious part of mind thus less prone to our unwittingly false responses (because you will give false responses to questions in the grill of an objective test unknowingly).
Anyway,I am 76% type 5 and 24% type 4 on Enneagram(just took an IRL test).

Not sure how well this link will work, but if you have a Facebook account, it SHOULD take you to the quiz... in theory.
Let me know how it works, and feel free to post your results here! [/quote]
I made a character quiz on Quizilla! Have fun y'all!

I am combining all of the "Which Character Are You" Quizzes into one thread. In the poll, choose which character you are most like (if from the several quizzes you get different answers, you can choose up to three characters).
