Okay. So the idea came to me recently. I've been battling with Epilepsy for the past year and a half now myself, and I know I've been kind of wanting to come back to writing stories that are "9" related (I still have one that I haven't written and would kick everybody in the feels) But I had a thought...
Is it possible that a stitchpunk could have Epilepsy? Or what would be something that a computer/robot would have that would be an equivilant to that? I tried to google something on the topic, to try to find something out, and I got nowhere. I have to imagine it wouldn't be exactaly like Epilepsy, because a Stitchpunk wouldn't be able to take medication, like a person would. and I can't imagine they would have the exact same side effects of the illness. But...I don't know, I want to write a story, but I want to have at least SOME kind of something to go on before I write anything. I do like to have information to back up my stories.
Any thoughts?

I read a book by Isaac Asimov that talked about a robot that broke the "Three Laws of Robotics", being that the robot inadvertently gave a poisoned drink to a human the robots circuits began to burn out so the robot ticked and studdered. Its like the option to break those rules, when heeded, triggered a circuit breakdown. I figure maybe your character could be a survivor of such a meltdown. Honestly, I hate how this is enough to direct YOUR writing experience, but good luck.

I think I'm a bit confused by confused by this comment?
Anyway, That's an interesting idea, I'll have to look into it. I didn't want to just fall back on the idea that he could be shorting out, which, to my knowledge, would be the closest thing I can think of that a robot might have to a seizure.
Thanks for the info!

I imagine the underlying neurological causes would be different, but I don't see why a stitchpunk couldn't have a condition resembling epilepsy - it would still boil down to a problem in the brain circuitry that manifested as seizures. Strobe lights were shown to have an effect on them in canon, so you could maybe start with that and run with it? I dunno, I don't really know enough about the different types to talk about it with any sort of authority.

I could imagine that some stitchpunks are immune to the flashing lights like 3 and 4 whilst others just stand on the spot. And I did remember watching Markipiler playing fnaf 2 and the phone guy mentioning to flash at the animatronics with the flashlight as it would cause a system restart, so the same thing applies with stitchpunks
