And judging by his handling of unusually dark, but fully intriguing, material... I'm wondering if we may not have the next generation's Tim Burton on our hands... If that were the case, I'd be the most ecstatic movie fanatic alive. Shane has such potential! I envy the guy...

... It's still going strong! It may have moved down a smidge, but that is to be expected.
But selling MORE? That's awesome!

Not bad, not bad at all I think a lot of people didn't get to see it while it was in theaters, sadly. =/ I know around here, only 2 theaters had it playing at all. XD

Interesting note...I was checking out offerings on Red Box the other day (that big red DVD rental machine in most grocery stores and Wal-Marts) and 9 was not among the offerings...never was. The grocery store didn't offer 9 in its rental case either, even though it had a small banner promoting its availability.
I assume it was still available through Netflix though. Anybody able to confirm?

Yep. Their DVD selection if viewable for everyone and all you have to do is type in "9" and it's right there.

XD The closest theatre showing it around my area was over an hour away >( I was livid. It seemed to have a good run in the big theatre in Peoria, but other than that wasn't shown in very many places and for long. It seems to be a trend.

ya know, there were a good amount of theaters in my area showing 9. I don't know if it's because of were I live (which is near Nashvile, TN) but it was a good amount of theaters.
EDIT 2/6/10: Earlier today, I went to Publix (a food store). I was bored, so I thought I'd see what movies they had in the movie rental box thingy. Well, one of the first movie choices is 9, which was currently being rented. Then I realized that, not many of the other films were being rented, not including 9, there was like only other 2 or 3 movies being rented.
