Right, so y'all have heard of the book series starting with I Am Number Four, right? Anyway, today I went into town to buy my Avengers DVD (an epic tale for another time) and, in the bookshop next to HMV, came across the third book in that series: The Rise of Nine. The tagline on the cover, above the title, was 'Power in numbers will save us all'. Guess which two words were highlighted?Needless to say, I lol'd. Literally. I had a fit of the giggles on the Waterstone's shop floor. The significance of the number 9 in the series, I am prepared to accept as coincidence - it's an important number in several world mythologies - but this? I'm starting to get suspicious. XD

XD I've been reading the series recently, had a a good chuckle and even imagined the Stitchpunks as the characters in the book. XD Well the ones that are left.

I was browsing a book store and saw that series too, Azvo. Quickest double take I've ever done in my life. XD

Yes. So many lolz are to be had with this series. XD I remember a while ago on Tumblr something was going around where a bunch of people were saying, "No, I am number four," and, of course, being the small party-crashing fandom that we are, we eventually ended up with a GIF of 4 claiming the coveted spot. Good fun.
In other news, someone really ought to contact the author of those books and show him what's what. XD

Oh lord, Shaney and I had a funny little convo the other day about how Rainbow Dash and 7 would probably love hanging out...as well as how fast 1 might lose his mind if he was forced to sit in the same room with Pinkie Pie XDD
Pinkie: C'mon Mr 1, smile! *starts singing "Smile Song"* 1: Oh Maker please, make it stop!!! Pinkie: Hey, I said that once! Ooh-I just noticed, but your numbers are like our Cutie Marks! Let's sing about it! 1: 8, sic her! ...8?! 8: *singing along* 1: AGH, DAMMIT!!!

Well recently I just realized that the numbers of a certain ship I like are right next to each other in my cell phone number, so a part of me wonder if this would count as a weird coincidence because I've had this number way before 9 even came out.

I always listen to Sirius when I work in school, so when I came back down from getting water, I saw this on Cinemagic and snapped a screenie just before a track from Gears of War came on~

So I was watching Silent Hill: Revelations to see if it was any good, since I liked the first Silent Hill movie and loved the games [spoiler: they tried to re-write Silent Hill 3 so it meshed more with the last movie and they did a terrible job], and during a certain scene where Heather is looking at the Seal of Metatron, a specific image came to mind that I couldn't shake for the rest of the movie. It probably wouldn't have stuck out so much if Heather didn't flip it over and run her thumbs over it in almost the exact same manner that 9 did with the Talisman. They even went on about her needing to find "the other half" to attach it to so it would actually work, which reminded me of the second Talisman half from the original short.
