CRAP you know what I just realized, I accidentally switched Hephaestus for Hephaestion! DAMMIT! YOU GUYS 5 IS NOT ALEX THE GREAT'S BOYFRIEND, OKAY? In more related news, I really think Acker had the Cassandra archetype in mind when he created 6's character Pffffh. That makes me lol. Oh heck yes! I LOVE the Cassandra archetype, and Mr. Acker does such a lovely job with it... 'Sides, 6 is just ADORABLE. How can you NOT love the little spazzer? Inner Shipper: YOU CAN'T!! You can't.

Hmmm.....I think I'll do them as cats. :3
1 would be a short-haired solid white cat, with amber eyes and a crooked tail. He'd be the kind of cat that is spoiled rotton, always asleep on the windowsill and twitching his tail and if a stranger tries to touch him, he'd bite their hand off.
2 would be a brown cat. Just a solid brown cat, with amber eyes. He'd be the old, wise cat, that loves to sit in your lap and explore the house while you're asleep. Very loyal.
3 and 4 would be both black cats with glowing yellow eyes. They'd be the kind of cats who tear up your furniture, chasing eachother around the house and climbing on the cabnits. Very playful young kittens.
5 would be a brown cat with orange spots and one green eye. He'd be a very paitent, kind cat, who would comfrot his owner while they were sick and make friends with every cat he meets.
6 would be (of course) a white cat with black stripes, with blue eyes. He would be kind of like my cat: a cat nobody understands. A cat who bats at the air and jumps out of your lap when he heard the faintest sound, that nobody else hears. But, in the cat world, they really mean something. No humans would understand him...but catwise, he'd be one of the smartest cats.
7 would be a silver cat, with blue eyes. True feral. She would not be a pet. She wouldn't except any humans. She would be a very quick-to-judge cat. She could kill a cat, if she tried hard enough. But, if you were kind to her, she would also be kind to you...if you were a cat, that is.
8 would be a long-haired cream-colored cat, with amber eyes. He would be the cat who ate ALOT of food. He would be a friend to anyone who would feed him. But, he'd also be the fighting type. The kind of tom who is teritorial, who fights any tom who passes by him.
9 would be an orange kitten with green eyes. He'd be the type of cat who is more like a dog: looks for lost humans, rids of rodents causing trouble, helps out friends. He'd be the kind of cat who would be a hero...of course. xD
I didn't do a good job on 9's, but other than that, I think that would pretty much capture their kitteh personalities. :3

Who would the various 9 characters be... if they were LION KING CHARACTERS! 1 - Scar, Mufasa!2's jealous, dominating, power-hungry brother. He longs for power, and is willing to do just about anything to get it. Plus, how bad-ass would it be to hear Christopher Plummer singing "Be Prepared"? 2 - Mufasa, dispensing time-honored wisdom and awesomeness! Unfortunately... because of Simba!9's blunder... yeah. However, his presence is felt throughout the entire movie, and his demise is what ultimately brings the conflict to a successful close. 3 and 4 - A double-version of Zazu! It... just works in my mind. 5 - Timon. Not... entirely sure why either. It just strikes me as funny. 6 - Rafiki, the slightly mad and sometimes silly shaman (and hey, both of them draw!). While he might seem quite crazy, Rafiki!6 in fact knows much more about the situation and how their world can be saved by Simba!9. 7 - Nala of course! Bad-ass, cheerful, strong-willed Nala. She's not scared of going against 1/Scars rule in order to do what she knows is right. 8 - Pumba. Big, rather dumb, but also endearing, he tends to freak out when he is called 'fat'. 9 - Simba. His innocence and curiosity are what get him into quite a bit of trouble- trouble he can't get out of. He feels guilty for what happened to Mufasa!2, and while he initially runs from his problems, eventually gains enough courage to stand up to Scar!1 and make things better.

Hey everybody! If you please please please have the time, could you answer one quick question?
If each Stitchpunk was a different Fantasy class (ala Final Fantasy - solider, thief, black mage, white mage, etc.), what would you picture them as?
|

Post by Stitchpunk Gal on Dec 21, 2009 9:26:12 GMT -5
So we can picture them as anything? Sweet! I'll use....SAILOR SENSHI!!!
1 as.......Sailor Star Fighter, actually. I'm pretty sure that Seiya had his/her arrogant and controlling moments. But Seiya still does all that he/she can to help the senshi....ecspecially Usagi. *under breath* Tranny tramp. Leave Usagi-chan alone.
2 as......well, if we consider the inventor in him, I'd pair him to Sailor Mercury. But on a whole, I think he's more of a Sailor Neptune........not the lesbian part but yeah. Both pretty fearless and experienced, 2 would definately give 1 a run for his money this way.
3 and 4 as......actually this is a tough one. I'd like to say that they remind me of both Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury. They are in no way as whacky as Minako-chan but they do have Minako-chan's sense of duty as well as Ami-chan's intelligence.
5 as.....Hmmm, I'd like to think of him as a Sailor Jupiter actually. Mako-chan's always had a big heart, just like 5 and Mako-chan definately knows how to use it. She (along with the other Inner Senshi) even sacrifices herself to help Usagi-chan defeat Sailor Galaxia in the season that didn't air in the U.S. *under breath again* Thank God Dic didn't get their crummy hands on it.
6 as......actually, now that I think of it, 6 is more of a Sailor Saturn. Both 6 and Hotaru-chan are very misunderstood characters with great power....well, Hotaru-chan is more powerful than 6 but you get the point.
7 as....definately Sailor Mars. Both are rather strong-willed fighters. (I wouldn't say strongest because that's Mako-chan and Haruka-san's job.) Rei-chan and 7 both share that nasty temper (I beleive) and really know where their duty lies, protecting Usagi-chan and 9.
8 as.....know that I think on it, 8 is definately a Sailor Uranus. (No laughing plz. This are srs buisness. XD ) Both are rather strong, though Haruka-san doesn't blindly follow orders. They have that same sense of duty that all the other senshi have but take it seriously. And let's face it, Haruka-san and 8 can kick someone's @$$ if they have to.
9 as.....most definately Sailor Moon herself. At the beginning, neither of them knew what the hell they were doing, but eventually they began to learn. Both of them care deeply for their friends and would do anything to make sure they were safe (I beleive). At the end, they rose up and defeated the enemy themselves (with a little help from friends) and they lived happily ever after. XD
*looks up* Oh, crap. Forgot Setsuna-san. Well, Pluto's not a planet anymore (which I find to be bullcrap! It still orbits our sun, doesn't it!?). Oh well. Maybe next time, Setsuna-san.

And now, cause I LOVE doing this...
The Cast of 9 as the characters of Wicked!
WARNING: Long, and some possible spoilers for Wicked.
1 - Madame Morrible, Headistress of Shiz University! The snooty Morrible!1 took Elphaba!7 under his wing after witnessing her power and began teaching her how to control her magic. Later however, he turns antagonist when it is revealed he works with Wizard!Scientist and is in truth, manipulating all the tragedies in Oz. An all round nasty piece of work.
2 - Dr. Dillamund, the goat History teacher! An energetic if elderly Animal who revels in teaching the young students of Shiz. He is well-liked by all (especially Elphaba!7), but unfortunately comes to suffer under Animal discrimination and is eventually taken away. "Something BAAAAAAAAAd!"
3 - ...Oh God, poor 3. I can't think of anything for him! Suggestions, anyone?
4 - Nessarose, later the Wicked Witch of the East! Small, fragile, and exceptionally sensitive, Nessa!4 is a very unhappy person, having been pitied for the better part of her life. Her hopes are raised (and later crushed) when she believes that Boq!8 loves her. Her fate is... less than pleasant.
5 - Galinda, later Glinda the Good! A charismatic, optimistic, and somewhat air-headed person, Glinda!5 becomes Elphaba!7's close friend. He hates to see her throw away her chance for happiness and hates that he is too afraid to join her. Still, even while under Morrible!1's thumb, he tries to do all he can to help Elphaba!7 (even when it turns out that she and Glinda!5's fiance Fiyero!9 are in love).
...Plus, how funny would it be to see 5 singing "Popular"?
6 - Chistery, the Flying Monkey! Chistery!6 is an Animal who has been beaten into silence and submission by Morrible!1. Though a very small role, he shows exactly what is happening to the Animals in Oz, and shows that there is hope for them yet - he joins Elphaba!7 in fighting against Wizard!Scientist after she frees him. Plus, GOD he's cute.
7 - Elphaba, later the Wicked Witch of the West! A rebellious young woman who is quick of wit and sharp of tongue, yet is also compassionate and bitter from the teasing she suffers. Elphaba!7 sacrifices safety, happiness, and love to fight against Morrible!1 and Wizard!Scientist and do what she knows it right. One real bad-ass!
8 - Boq, the Munchkin (oh the irony)! A love-sick (giant) munchkin who is head over heels for Glinda!5 (oh God, the mental images...). He would do anything for him, and when asked, pretends to be in love with Nessa!4 to make Glinda!5 happy.
9 - Fiyero, the Prince! Though first appearing as scatter-brained and careless, Fieryo!9 proves to be an incredibly caring and supportive person to Elphaba!7... in fact, later on he joins her in rebelling against Morrible!1 and falls in love with her.
The Scientist - The Wizard! Initially seen as a kindly parental figure, Wizard!Scientist turns out to be a little less than that... well, more like a lot. But even then, after all he has done, he shows remorse for his actions - he honestly believed he was doing the world good.
God these are way too fun.

The 9 cast as some random Video Game Characters
1 as The King of All Cosmos from Katamari Damacy. Let's face it, they both believe that because of their age/rank, they think that they know better or something like that.
2 as Professor Layton from....Professor Layton. They are both very calm and kind and they are both pretty intelligent.
3 & 4 as the Mario Brothers, need I say more? XD
5 as Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank, since they are both pretty smart about mechanical stuff and they both have a good heart.
6 as Lucas from Earthbound, because they are both pretty timid and they have something striped.
7 as Samus Aran from Metroid, because Samus is one of the few badass female video game characters out there and she ranks the top of the list
8 as a Big Daddy from Bioshock, since they were built to protect and 8 is pretty protective and loyal to 1. *imagines 1 as a Little Sister* XD
9 as Altair from Assassin's Creed, because in the beginning, they both majorly screw up even though they meant well. XD

Instead of characters, I found quotes that I thought went with each of them: 1. My idea of an agreeable person is a person who agrees with me- Benjamin Disraeli
2. We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action. –Frank Tibolt
3&4. The secret of a good memory is attention, and attention to a subject depends upon our interest in it. We rarely forget that which has made a deep impression on our minds- Tyron Edwards
5. Prosperity makes friends, adversity tries them. -Publilius Syrus
6. To be great is to be misunderstood. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
7. Risk! Risk anything! Care no more for the opinions of others, for those voices. Do the hardest thing on earth for you. Act for yourself. Face the truth. – Katherine Mansfield
8. The wise are instructed by reason; ordinary minds by experience; the stupid, by necessity; and brutes by instinct. – Cicero
9. Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

OMG I love wicked and the idea of 6 as Chistery was just hilarious. (And 5 singing popular to 7 is scary)
Also I can kinda see 3 if Nessa had a younger sister that drove her wheelchair along instead of Elphie.

I like to connect the 9 stitchpunks with alternate modes if they were in the Transformers universe:
1: Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (acting out as a pillar of strength)
2: Ambulance (being the medic, this is the perfect choice)
3 and 4: Twin Sukhoi Su-47 jets (smaller and sleek, making them able to zoom around quickly)
5: Compact emergency car (small size lets him go faster, and since he's a medical car, it also works)
6. Street line painter (it's all about ART!)
7. Chevrolet Corvette (sleek, yet speedy and flashy)
8: SWAT assault truck (size and power)
9: Smart car (a newer model)

Cause I STILL love doing these sorts of things... 9 Characters as the cast of "Treasure Planet"! 1 - John Silver. At first glance, both 1 and Silver appear to be pretty nasty pieces of work. But, they ultimately turn out to be not so bad, and grudgingly fond of 9 and Hawkins. Plus for some reason, the image of 1 pretending to be all chummy with 9 makes me giggle. 2 - Billy Bones. A relatively minor character, but the one who really sets things in motion for 9/Jim. Poor dude just NEVER gets enough screentime. 3 and 4 - Morph, collectively. Cute, comic relief, yet also useful at times, these two just fit the bill. 5 - Doctor Doppler. An awkward, amiable chap with a love/hate for adventure. He proves to be quite useful to the story, though he is rather cowardly. Also has a crush on 7/Amelia. That should make the 5/7 fans happy. 6 - B.E.N. A rambling madman with a better grasp of the situation than most people think he does. He is incredibly loopy, has no sense of personal space, and has a tendency to forget things that happened seconds earlier. Still, I'd hug 'im. 7 - Captain Amelia. BAD-ASS BAD-ASS AND EVEN MORE BAD-ASS. She is just AWESOME and there is no other way to put it. Being the only really strong female character in the movie ('side from Jims mom) also helps. 8 - Mr. Arrow. I know, they really don't match up, but both are very loyal and are the real muscle of the group. Unfortunately, things don't really go too well for either of them... 9 - Jim Hawkins. Can you say "dumb-ass main protagonist"?

Ohboy! Warrior Cats!
1 - Bluestar? The only difference is Bluestar is a lot kinder in the start of the books. But after Tigerstar's attacks she grows mixed up and such, and eventually after growing harsh her mind alters and she saves Fireheart/Firestar's life in exchange for her last one, like 1 did for 9.
2 - Spottedleaf? She didn't get much time in the books alive. Sure she appeared as a ghost in a majority of the series but she died midway into the first book. But she was the first (or one of the first) who knew that Fireheart would come to save the clans like 2 hoped 9 would come.
3 and 4 - Double Cinderpelt! When she was younger before her accident, she was very hyper, energenic, and determined. But as she got older she seemed more knowledgable and was a good mentor for Leafpool.
5 - Graystripe, Obviously. He is a loyal friend, a good fighter, but literally loses a lot of things (His mate, his daughter). But he remains Fireheart's friend in the long run.
6 - Jayfeather? Jayfeather has some sort of special ability like that of 6's.
7 - Sandstorm. She is a tough fighter and Fireheart's mate. In the first few books she appears to hate him because of his kittypet roots but eventually she reveals her love for him and becomes his mate. She is a bit independant like 7 is.
8 - Tigerstar? Both are big brutes, that's pretty much all I can think of.
9 - Fireheart/Firestar obviously. His origins made everyone doubt he would be a successful warrior and would just create havoc, but in the long run his confidance, loyalty, kindness, and skills end up saving others in several ways and eventually earned him the leader's place after Bluestar died.

Another one that I thought of that would work is what the stitchpunks' ranks would be if they were in the army:
1 - General 2 - Chief Medic 3 and 4 - Private 2nd class 5 - Sergeant 6 - Lance Corporal 7 - Sergeant Major 8 - 2nd Lieutenant 9 - Recruit

Since it seems no has done this yet, I'll do Final Fantasy characters.
1 - Kefka. I can't see any other FF character besides this guy being similar to 1. Despite 1 not exactly being an "evil madman", these two did have something similar. Kefka kills thousands of people yet he doesn't even blink and eye, while 1 sends 2 out to "scout"*cough*die*cough* and he puts on the act of not caring, passing it on as trying to keep the rest of the group safe.'
2 - Cid. Yes, I think 2 seems most like Cid. But not just any Cid, I'm mainly referring to the one from FF4. 2 always seemed like a fatherly figure, and Cid from FF4 seemed to me, out of all of the other Cids, to care most about his family and even the other party members.
3&4 - Palom&Porom. Quite easy who the twins would be if they were FF characters: the cute mage twins from FF4! With that said, I think I've made my point and need to further discuss why the twins would be these two.
5 - Vivi. 5 would be Vivi because, well... they're both timid yet kind-hearted. And as time grows on, they both are seen with more of a backbone and some courage. And come on, both of these guys are so lovable!
6 - Edward. 6 is a toughie, so I chose Edward. Edward might not be crazy like 6, but they both are haunted by something. 6 is haunted by the source and possibly had visions of his friends dying, while Edward mourns the lost of his kingdom and his loved one(not to mention being stalked by her ghost several times during the game).
7 - Shadow. You thought I would have said someone like Beatrix, wouldn't you? But no(although she would have ranked second after this guy). Both 7 and Shadow are swift, quick fighters and are loyal. And they can leave you at any given time(such as 7 running off when 5 and 9 were going to go back to the workshop). The only thing 7 needs to be more like Shadow is a dog(haha, maybe 9 can be the dog? *shot*).
8 - Guy. They're both buff, loyal, and usually silent. Its a damn shame 8 can't talk to animals like Guy can.
9 - Firion. I can on see 9 as being Firion. They're both the stereotypical hero type, yet they're likable. Both want to live in freedom, and both end up rebelling against something(9 w/ 1 and Firion w/ the Empire) to attain that freedom.

Due to some drawing ideas I've been working on, I've been comparing the 9 stitchpunks with what characters they'd be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
1 - King Dedede (at first I thought it would seem too silly, but when I thought about it, it actually works!)
2 - Fox McCloud (both his noble personality, and the eye visor and metal piece on his head)
3 and 4 - Ice Climbers (you can't have one without the other (and even if you did, it just doesn't seem as fitting))
5 - Pit (Because 5's personality really is like an angel. ^w^)
6 - Luigi (It's all about his Final Smash. That crazy Final Smash.)
7 - Zero Suit Samus (They act EXACTLY like each other!)
8 - Donkey Kong (It was stuck between DK and Wario, but it was the whole flippy thing that 8 has on his head that reminded me of Donkey Kong).
9 - Link (both the heroes of their game worlds.)
