Um. No? XD what do you mean? lol Commentary like that would be awesome. I just really want to see that! What IF they DO add it in the movie, though? I've seen a few like that, can't remember the titles, though. I've seen a clip on Youtube where they did that for Disney's Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers. Quite funny, actually- Goofy apparently didn't know that it was a movie... I had a random idea that I was actually going to fic, but a: I can't be bothered and b: I'm not really that funny. ANYWAY, to my idea. You know how on some special things 1 or 2 of the characters take a tour of the studios and they talk to randoms that were involved? WELL. I got the idea that 6 and 8 could tour around these 'studios', and meet the other characters in the 'dressing rooms' and everything. The image of 6 and 8 seeing 2 drinking from a waterbottle amuses me (cause he has to go back and be thrown around in the cage for the 20th time)... my sense of humour is kinda random.

..The hell? I um...Heard that the DVD is coming out on Nov.24th of this year, 2 disc special edition and Blu-ray. There's even someone on ebay who's reserving copies for people who buy it from them. Like you 'buy' a DVd and then they send it to you when they come out. It's like...$40 though for the DVD and $50 for blu-ray. Where did you hear about the release date? I don't even know if that's even a good release date since the movie just came out, two months after it's in theatres it just goes to DVD... Yet it was a popular movie imo, but I've just never heard of that before.

Oh man that would be great! even if they didn't do a full commentary with the characters, a small one with movie scenes, like Destroy all Humans did, would be good too.

OR they could do it in parts with what characters are in the scene at the time, or vise versa.
For example:
Seamstress Scene : 2 is there, no one else is. He talks about how he wishes he could've helped them and such
Or everyone but 2 is there. They all complaign at the Seamstress, and 8 whines that he was captured too easily lol

I haven't heard about that date... o.O Or seen it on any sites. Odd... I hope that guy on ebay has a high rating, or else people might be getting ripped off. XD ..The hell? As soon as I say things like this, I'm made out to be a liar by the sources. *sigh* I can't find that listing for preordering the DVD anymore and all online searches are turning up nothing. Sorry...Just should've kept quiet I suppose.

It's alright (I guess)
Sharing information is helpful. At the same time, we need to be careful where we get it and whether it's authentic or not.
Either way,
character commentary on the film sounds gooooooooooooooooooood at the moment
*drools*

Concept art would look amazing. I can't wait to see how they designed all of the evil machines before they were finalized.
I haven't seen Smashing either. Deleted scenes would be funny.
Another good thing to add would be a mini-game of sorts in the DVD. I've played some on others, and they're kind of fun.

I'd love to see some deleted scenes, character commentary, and director/producers commentary.
I think it would be amusing to hear Shane and Tim discussing the movie while watching it, especially pointing out all those little references to the short and some little side-stories, inside jokes, and whatnot from animating and creating the film's story.
Character narration would be absolutely wonderful. However, if they had, say, a CSM narrating the part where its head is chopped off... hehe~
I can't wait till this comes out. All the little bonus material and such great stuff ^^ [/size]

...what if they animate Shane and Tim as Stitchpunks themselves, and have those guys be the commenters on the commentary part of the movie?

I've seen a few like that, can't remember the titles, though. What you said earlier reminded me of a quote from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory that went like this: Everything in this room is eatable, even I'm eatable. But that would be called cannibalism, my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies! It sounded familiar to what you said before, so that was why I asked.

Does anyone happen to know Shane Acker's address anyway? If we did, then we could all write to him and ask for a "Stitchpunk Commentary"!
And as for plushies, I'm making life-size (as in, about 7-inch tall) "stitchpunk scarecrows" for Halloween/Thanksgiving, so once I'm done with that, I can keep them all as little plushies!
