Besides, I liked 2 as well. Someone mentioned he was a bit over-the-top at times, though I think the best evidence of that was cut out (This is smashing! SMASHING!). Playing it a bit humbler, he really worked. Oh, you did NOT just dis' my SMASHING... *cracks knuckles* Anyway, I'm glad to see 5 is winning. XD I think John might win a few awards for his work in the movie, personally.

I voted for 1. Christopher Plummer WAS PERFECT for his part. And all of his mannerisms were taken from the actor himself. Perfect choice.

JCR failed. Some of the flattest voice acting I've seen, although 5 was not at all the worst character in the movie.
Hell, even Guf did a better job in the Russian version in voicing 5.
Christopher Plummer gets my vote.

5 and 9... :3 I loved both. 7's voice was pleasant too.

Christopher Plummer as 1! I seem to recall stating "that man can do a bark and a purr so darn perfectly" and that stayed true to the end. He was able to pull off disgruntled and elegant so well, his performance STILL gives me shivers.
John C. Reilly was a close second, as his voice was incredibly endearing and genuine.

The watch tower was probably the strongest example of that. Overall though, I still think he was an excellent casting choice.

Ugh, 1 was a close, close second for me. I had to choose one, though, but if I coud have choosen another 1 would have been in their awesome. Also 1 looked like his voice. 9 did not. For he had no little mustache of which he twirled. (Why did I mention that?)

XD 9 might have done some dumb things, but he hardly likened to that description. It should be noted though that this is the THIRD protagonist Elijah Wood has voiced now. He was Mumble in Happy Feet and also voices Spyro in the Legend of Spyro games.

I must admit that there were instances that 5's lines did fall flat. And it WAS a close call between him and 1. But overall I loved 5 a lot more.

I too had to go with 6 on this one. I just thought Crispins voice matched perfectly with 6's personality and innocence!
(But i think that all the actors did an amazing job as their characters.)

JCR/5's getting most of the love.
It was the screaming that did it I think. That terrified screaming right before his death really sticks in your brain.
I just love his meekness. All his cries and whimpers. They're really endearing.

I'm seriously laughing right now how Frodo hasn't gotten any votes. The main character's voice has gotten no votes. Elijah Wood, you so silly. I would have voted for you purely on the fact that every word you delivered as 9 was just so dramatic and it made me giggle. Then again, 9 is a rather dramatic character. Maybe too dramatic.
(Oh god I just realized I could've voted for 3 & 4 D:)

I once did a poll asking people which Sonic the Hedgehog character they wanted me to draw...it took 60 votes before anyone picked the Blue Blur. XD (Nothing beats Toadette's epic fail in my Mario poll though...she didn't receive ANY of the 140 votes cast)
