Cissy - Holy crap, thanks for writing that all down!
YAY - Very possible! It might have been for the animators.
tantopat & Bane Reiko - I have the artbook too, and I saw several different dates on the newspapers... I think some of them are just to fill in empty space, honestly (to make the newspapers more "real").
Death Sock - Nice catch! XD!!

If the tounges are made of the same material as the stitchpunks themselves, then maybe the scientist just put it there so they can pronounce words correctly. Because you can't even correctly pronouce any of thier names without one(Seriosusly, trying saying 1 without your tounge. It's hard!) I just tried saying "1" without my tongue, and I ended up sounding like Dory in Finding Nemo when she speaks whale!

I wonder if that news article was actually from a real newspaper? That would be a pretty funny easter egg, I can't imagine Shane Acker telling the animators to write a fake article on fire-retardant.

JUST TO BRING SOMETHING UP REAL QUICK Don't you also need your teeth to pronounce words correctly? That is why old people have dentures, or one of the reasons. The stitchpunks are like teethless gum babies. I don't really know how much of a difference having a tongue would make if they don't have teeth LIKE THOSE BAAAABIES. Just mentioning. Not trying to say they can't have tongues.

They have voice boxes, as for them, they do not need things like tongues or teeth cuz of thos tiny radios..
Geez it must have been hard for the Scientist to install them if their that tiny.... That leaves me with a question though....Could they even talk to the Scientist, cuz he never said anything about talking to his creations :/

They would probably sound like little squeaks to him. Oh, no, wait, they're all aroung 6-8", so he could probably hear their voices just fine. It's surprising to think that 9 is, like, the size of a Barbie. So yeah, they probably said things like, "Who are you?" or, "What's going on?" and he would probably explain the situation before sending them off (After they gain their sea legs, of course).
And I also believe they don't need those things every, because they have voice boxes, and just imitate human mouth patterns, because a movie that's an hour long would be terrifying if they were talking without mouths. You know, it's a case of it's not needed in real life, but for the sake of not giving people nightmares, they're making them more human so they don't fall into the Uncanny Valley or something to that extent. So for practicalitys sake, no, they shouldn't move their mouths. For the sake of the movie viewers sanety, oh god yes they need to move their mouths.

I think it's a dagger, Anna. Not 100% sure, but that's what it seems to me.

Hm... I'm not sure WHAT that is Anna.
It looks like some kind of medal to me. But the twins seem to have put it on a stick for some reason.
Or a dagger, like Mokyn said.

...OK. This has been bothering me for awhile, so I finally investigated...
6's left eye, instead of having a silver rim like the other dolls, has a GOLD rim. Like, it is the color gold. I NEVER noticed that before, until now... and for some reason I REALLY can't explain, it's bugging me.
Wow. Can anyone else back me up, or is it just a trick of the light?

You are absolutely correct snowi! After you mentioned it to me before I checked it out. He does in fact have a GOLD rim on his left optic. I can get a picture for anyone who wants it.
Kinda makes me feel better for giving him a gold eye in my NaNo.

Yeah, it's really weird... it's almost as if the Scientist didn't make a full set of matching optics, and used another dolls left optic instead, to replace the other one. Maybe THAT'S WHERE 5'S EYE WENT DOH-HO-HO.
...But GAH WHY DOES THAT BOTHER ME SO MUCH. Maybe it's cause I'm such a fan of his, and I never noticed...
*sulks*

Left as in his left? I'm not really seeing it.
Maybe the scientist miscalculated in making his eyes and it was too late to make another? Or he just felt that 6 would be alright with it?
Scientist: Sorry 6, I couldn't make your eyes the same size. I hope that's okay. 6: *looking at himself in the mirror* I'M A MONSTER! THIS IS THE SKIN OF A KILLER, BELLA!
His smaller eye actually seems more in proportion to his face. His other eye is just... huge.
