Could be. Also I have noticed that despite 6 having two different-sized eyes, his pupils remain the same size which is... odd. See here: Seems like it would make more sense for the smaller eye to have a smaller pupil.

I dunno, kind of gives 6 an even more goofy look. And I think it might look weirder if it was smaller, so even if it doesn't make much sense, it looks better sort of.
And I think the reason 1 has belts is because since he was the first, the Scientist added a lot of things that weren't needed much. If you notice, the stitchpunks get progressivly simplier as time goes on, because he knew what was needed, and not needed- and that's why 9 was the simplist one of all, yet also the most complex. Just my 1 cent.

Probably. 1 was the first one, and the scientist had no idea how to keep it so the skin would remain together for sure. As he made more he got better at it. That...or maybe he was running out of equipment he needed to make the stitchpunks.

Interesting theory, P.R.O.S.A...
This has probably already been talked about, but has anyone noticed the voice/speaker boxes in the Beast's mouths--they're the shower-head looking things.
They both have them.
But why?
Were they meant to communicate with the Fab that way?
And if so, The Seamstress makes noises (creepy ones I might add), but where's its voice/speaker box?

Most likely, to communicate with the fab... and perhaps to frighten the stitchpunks into submission. The seamstress might have one behind the strings in her mouth, or inside her canvas body. Edit: I just opened up the artbook I have, and there's a lot of machinery behind her doll face, so it's more than likely in there somewhere.

It's a distinct possibility

OH.
-When the Stitchpunks are running to the bridge (just after 5 is killed), 7 first sees that the Twins get going first, then drags 6 along for a few paces until he starts running too.
-When 8 is soul-sucked, the thread that the Seamstress sewed into his mouth actually EVAPORATES when the life-sucking bolt hits him.

I just re-watched the clip to see it myself... Holy OW. I also just noticed that when the twins originally start using the record player, they chuck one of the record covers onto the ground. XD

While watching it once again I noticed in the watchtower scene when 5 is talking about the telescope that he is standing on a box of matches. Pyro5 is always ready to burn.

Forgive me if someone has already mentioned this, but after watching it a second time I noticed in at the beginning of the scene where 1 confronts 9 and 5 in the tower, when it shows the clock from the outside, the time is 9:09.

OH MY GOD GUYS
I just realized what those little seams on 3 and 4's backs are for! They're not for storing, they're not war scars, and they're not HIDDEN POCKETS FOR THEIR LASERS. It's so that you can tell them apart from the back! I mean, think about it- the seams are very neat and percise, and they both have them, and they don't really serve much of a purpose. And they're at different angles, which just feels like a way to signal who 3 is and who 4 is, without having to look at them from the front! Shane Acker=freaking genius, no?

I have to admit, that's a rather unusual article choice... ;^^ I'd love to know why they decided to use an advert like that on their newspaper! Also, I was reading through the art book, and on the "War declared" newspaper page, the date is "Wednesday, July 14, 2009". I'm not sure if it's the same in the film, but if it is, then that would mean that the timeline in their world could be even stranger than first thought...

... Hm... 3 and 4's notches... *goes to check*. YAY is right! Acker, you are a genius!
That article was.... interesting. If my eyes weren't in such bad shape I would have tried to do that.
Hold on tanto! *runs to watch movie* OK, if my eyes can be trusted... the newspaper with "War Declaired!" in the movie reads as... THE SAME DAY, May 16, 1930. OK.... Maybe they didn't think we'd notice? OR maybe the second is the evening edition? But it is a different newspaper so... who knows?
