Did anyone notice how when 9 first met 2 in the beginning, right after 9 gets his voice box and 2 says "friend" to assure 9 of being friends he moves his glasses lens out of the way. But then, after he looks into 9 again and says "what's this?" and 9 pulls out the Talisman, 2's lens thing is back in front of his face. I noticed that, like, the first time I saw the clip online. Good eye, TR!

The animators seem to get confused with the symbols on the Talisman. First, in the film's opening, the Scientist places it into the soul transfer device wrong, assuming that the flashback later in the film is correct. Second, when 9 is showing the dolls the sequence, he shows it to them in the incorrect order. EDIT: Whoa, I JUST noticed this... The reflection of the Seamstress is wrong. The red eye isn't inverted.

Now I have an odd mental image of 1's optics actually being windows into a parallel universe! *laughs* 1 looks kind of like a zombie or skeleton in that picture.

I know during the seamstress clip when 1 is getting tied up you can see 8 past out inside the seamstress. Then in the next clip 8 is wide awake and struggles and so on. And before the seamstress attacks when 1 walks in talking to himself he walks over a book with a diamond picture on it. You see the book again when 9 and 5 run out and he twins stay at the entrance and you can see the same book in the background. You see the book again after when 9 lets go of the seamstress's tail and you see the book behind him.

1. If you look on the character posters the porcelain doll head and that big brown book are copied and pasted several times from poster to poster.
2. Why is 2 called "the oldest" instead of 1? Wasn't 1 made first? Well, I guess 2 is the kind elderly spirit in the Scientist, so I guess that's okay...
3. How did the Scientist survive the poison gasses to make 9 when everyone else died?
4. Why didn't 2 give nifty little voice boxes to 3 and 4 like he did for 9? I guess the twins just weren't set up exactly right for it or something...
5. Why does a voice box for a female doll produce a male voice in 9? (Cut any comments on Elijah Wood being gay, please.)
Lol, just some random things I noticed, mostly upon thinking about the movie afterward...

Hey Hyenaspots, I noticed the same thing with the posters. It's that same doll...
And notice that, in order to make the Seamstress, the BRAIN has to have a doll head to begin with, and since it can't leave the factory, that means there was a child's doll in the factory... Sad when u think about it... It means a kid must have been in there when... things went down...
And as to someone's point earlier (im too lazy to quote) about 2's lense thingy that he moves away to get a better look at the talisman and then it magically comes back, doesn't it swing down when he tilts his head? I don't think that was a mistake. 0_0
Man, there are all kinds of little things you have to scan for, u know? I love this movie! (INNER SHIPPER: well yeah, ur a full member... *slap*)

One thing that's always bugged me is that scene when the map 5 brought with him and 9 flies away, and then when 7 comes around the map is back, IN THE SAME PLACE
It's bugged me to no end I swear.

I guess you could explain the magical map as the wind being all crazy and just blowing it back that way.

Another mistake - When the Cat Beast ran off with 2, 9's arm was damaged. Now, I don't know about you, but when the Cat Beast threw the huge can, it seemed too high to do any damage around 9's arm. In addition, when the beast attacked him earlier, it couldn't reach his arm. I even watched closely, didn't grab it or rip it at all. So my question is: How the heck did 9 injure his arm?

Um, If you look at the can before i was thrown you can see a part of burlap from 9's arm on the can.

No no, I don't think it was on the can, cuz 9 didn't loose any of his burlap, but is was torn. Idk...maybe I'm wrong?
