To defend 7, I don't think she "wussied up" or "lost her edge" towards the end...she simply realized this was an enemy she couldn't simply smack the crap out of. I mean, look at her track record:
Cat Beast = Won easy Winged Beast = Defeated Seamstress = Defeated, Captured
So when it came to the Fabrication Machine, one can understand why she'd mellowed on her fierce, independent stance. Fighting the way she'd fought all the others would've just been stupid.
(I will admit, however, that she could've acted a LITTLE stronger during the scene where they go to use the talisman on Fabby)
Anyway, my least favorite character was 8. I don't really dislike him, so much as I dislike the fact that he was grossly underdeveloped. When he dies, it doesn't feel like we were ever really given a reason to care...and apparently neither did the stitchpunks, who never actually acknowledged his death (though 1 may have, silently).

Least favorite monster? The Seamstress. It was just creepy.
Least favorite ragdoll? 8. I found him... dumb and boring. (Okay, the part with the magnet made me and my friends laugh hysterically, but still...)

Maybe the problem of the movie is that it relies too much on the viewer picking up the subtle things that the characters do.
maybe it's not that the characters are underdeveloped, maybe its the fact that we aren't seeing, (or not wanting to see) the subtle actions of the characters.

I agree. I know I didn't catch alot of subtle moments from the characters, I was too entranced by the beautiful backgrounds and imagery, it almost kind of drew away from the character's facial and body expressions at some points. That's why I want to watch this movie a second time, and third, and fourth, and so on, to catch EVERYTHING about the characters to learn much more about them.

1 and 8 have to be my least favorites. 1 is for a sort of off reason. He reminded me of a teacher I had in high school that drove me batty. It's one of those "oh geez not another one like this" moments. 8... I just wasn't feeling him. He felt shallow and poorly handled. :/ I know, I'm probably gonna get quoted and told that he did get developed and I just didn't pay attention, blah blah. But I wasn't feeling him. He didn't seem handled well to me, hence my dislike. I'm sorry.
The machines were all fine by me, though the Seamstress freaked me the crap out.

My least favorite moment was 1's rapidly paced epiphany and death. The man deserved better!

My least favorite moment was 1's rapidly paced epiphany and death. The man deserved better! Yeah, he needed a longer epiphany I don't know how they could have made his death longer, though... I mean, unless they showed him running towards 9 in slow motion. XD

Hmm...
Well, to be honest there isn't a single character I honestly don't like. Of all of the characters I think 8 and 9 were my least favorites. 8 just needed a bit more development to him (granted, not that most of the others got much) since he was such a douche, and then 9... don't get me wrong, he was a sweetie. But he just fell flatter to me than the others did. On the other hand I missed the scene with him and 1 arguing before the winged beast shows up so maybe I missed development there.
Also -1-. FREAKING 1 I LOVE YOU BUT YOUR EPIPHANY AND DEVELOPMENT SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE TIME! ...Actually screw that, they all needed more time.
OKAY HERE IS MY LEAST FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THIS MOVIE: The time constraints that made it so all the wonderful development that we wanted to see didn't happen. YEAH.

My least Favorite of the Stitch Punks would to be the Twins I kinda felt they we're useless.
and the Monster would have to be the Blimps Monster they're just Eye-Candy.

The Winged Beat and 1
The Winged beat didn't seem all that cool and menacing to me like Fab, Cat Beast, or Seamstress. Plus I'm not sure what it's actually based off of. A bat... with a beak. o-O It doesn't like like bird material to me.
*shrugs*
And 1...
OK. I know alot of people here like him but he just came off as a complete jackass to me especially when he said this.
"He was old. He was WEAK!"
He was talking about 2, so knowing that, it was his fault that 2 was dead. Not nessasarily 9's.
