Yeah, in an interview Acker said that he wanted to shoot a film from about 8 inches off the ground. That's about the size of a run-of-the-mill doll or figurine.

Heh, that's a good point.
The monsters in the movie really would have to be sized up accordingly xD

They were in the range of 6-9 inches tall (I'm giving such a big range, because I think the twins were a lot shorter, and 8 was a lot taller than the average stitchpunk). So, the action figures really are to scale.

Indeed,
Isn't 6 the shortest? Or is it the fact that he is hunched over from that key of his that make shim seem so small?
I think 3&4 Are fairly tall, "Inspired by meerkats", I hear, They scurry and to slump down alot like an animal would on twos of they could stand. Making them seem short.
Buuuut, Yes, the action fgures are mostly to scale, <3

6 is supposedly the shortest at only 7 inches, but looks shorter due to him hunching all the time. Even so, there isn't that great a height difference between him and the others, besides 8.

It's on wikki. I think it's either 8 or 9 inches tall. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/9_(2009_film)Hope it helps :] All I did was google "Stitchpunks" and all these results came up about the movie.

Now that we've got their heights stapled down, I'm curious about how much they weigh. I'm really a stickler for knowing the heights and weights of every character of every fandom I'm interested in, even if it never comes up in my writing or drawing.
They seem to be mostly cloth and padding with a metal skeleton and parts so I'm thinking... maybe a pound at most? 8 would be heavier, naturally.

The 9 experience online says that they are somewhere around between 10 to 20 inches tall.

Jeez, that's alot bigger than I thought they were... Perhaps I'll do a to-scale profile sketch of them all, with various objects for size reference (car headlight bulb comes to mind) Those are pretty standard size...
