I apologise for resurrecting a months-deserted topic, but I just want to say that I've come to like the idea of stitchpunks practising handfasting. It makes a kind of sense, if you think about it - it's a simple, straightforward ceremony that can either be something performed for all the world to see or just for the two mates involved, and there's a nice sort of 'two-souls-become-one' symbolism involved in creatures made of fabric ceremonially binding their hands together with cloth or thread. So, yeah. *vanishes once more into the night*

Although an rp my friend P-tan and I were in had our stitch-OCs go to "their spot," exchange tiny home-made rings and "promise to stick together." LATE TO THE PARTY OH YES. LIKE A BOSS.That was Charlie's idea =p He'd dealt with humans Before and had some very vague ideas (mostly because the concept hadn't been explained to him, only mentioned). So he took himself off to the library, because all the smart types go there for answers. Except derp, Charlie can't actually read. He had to work off of pictures and whatever 3 and 4 could get across to him. I still want to rp that meeting out - he'd flip his gourd because OMG ALDIS.So...yeah. I'll uh...just quiet back down now ^^;
