What I really liked about the movie was the diversity concerning the characters. No two characters were alike, even if they were all lacking a bit in development. 1 was strict and suspicious. 2 was wise and inventive. 3 and 4 were clever and timid. 5 was gentle and modest. 6 was quirky and observant. 7 was quick-tempered and nimble. 8 was bulky and ignorant at times. And 9 was thoughtful and bold. I love that.

I love 9 for so many reasons!
- It wasn't afraid to push the boundaries as an animated movie. It didn't try to sugarcoat the story thanks to the stereotypes of the medium.
- It took chances with killing off the major characters. As soon as you see 2 die, you know there's no turning back and that anyone can die in it.
- I'm a huge Tim Burton fan, so I was glad to see his work in this. Thanks to this movie (and because of my newfound love of the series again), I'm also really hyped for Shane Acker's Thomas the Tank Engine movie!
- The characters. I love how each of their personalities are so different from each other and how defined they seem. Even the Fabrication Machine has a past that makes him feel more rounded as a villain.
This movie really ranks high as one of my favorite all-time movies!

9 is an amazing movie for many reasons. Firstly, 9 is an animated movie featuring dark elements and themes which are commonly seen in animated movies (as they usually made for a family audience) which makes the movie really unique and special. Every character is different and unique in their own way and the movie handles relationships really well between each of the characters, which is fantastic to see in a film. The animation is beautiful, everything is just so detailed and so well animated! The story-line is perfect; it's always dramatic and leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen and the dark, creepiness of the film makes the plot even better. The movie took risks, really good risks that left me (and a lot of other people) in awe. It's also in general a really smart movie, discussing really interesting ideas and the writers wrote it with a lot of sophistication. Overall, it's such a fantastic movie, I can never get tired of watching it because I love seeing these characters, the story, the animation etc all play out again! c:

That can often be hard to explain. I may not often be into stuff that have to do with characters dying. Not to mention the fact that I'm more into 2D animation and cartoons rather than computer animation. But I guess I'll list following in what I feel is the reason:
1.) When I first rediscovered "9" in a review video, the biggest highlight that the reviewer says is "What happened to this world? Where did these ragdolls come from? Why do these machines want to kill?" It suddenly kicked into me and I felt like I had to find out and that's when I started surfing up the movie. And although I know the answer to these questions now, I feel that there is still more question about the world out there. And that's when the second reason comes.
2.) When the movie ended, you were a bit happy with the souls being free and only four of the survivors still standing on Earth. But it still feels incomplete. "What happens next?" was the line that 7 ask, which is the same as we all thought when we finished the movie. Let's say you get one of those assignments in class where you read a short story, but find it incomplete. And our homework is to complete the story. Imagine having to read such a very imaginative world filled with lots of explanation of the world and the characters. And by the time you find out that there should be more to the story, that when our imagination storms up. We can believe that maybe theyfind a way to bring their friends back to life, or how they make mor stitchpunks. And that's when the OCs of "9" is created. Shane pretty much ended it there so WE can find the idea on how we should continue the story. Each one of us can do whatever we want with it because "it's what we make of it".
Actually, now I just realized #2 is the main reason why I love 9, so now I know. Heh, who knows you can actually learn by just typing out your deep thoughts? XD
