The idea of 7,3 and 4 showing and telling 9 their past with recordings is a cool idea, that way they don't have to make two movies to tell two stories separated. I do have some ideas for a sequel but they sound more like fanfic ideas but they could possibly work. Now alot of people would say 'how could there be more stitchpunks if the Scientist only created 9?' Well, we do have theories of other Scientist and maybe in 3 and 4's recordings it can show hints of other stitchpunks hiding in the backround but they didn't mean to record it. Another idea was something what MoonPhantom9 said: I did see somewhere else where I believe it was Shane Acker talking about the sequel possibly being about how they react to the re-awakening world around them and whether the accept the humanity within themselves, or realize that they are, in essence, machines. Now that is something worth to explore. I would like to see how 9 and the others react when humanity finally restored itself. Sure it would take years for the human to come back, but it would be interesting to see if they don't repeat history of the machines and see if they accept the Stitchpunks as living beings or would they fear them like they feared the machines.

Now THAT's an idea!
It would be just like a LOST A-Plot B-Plot type thing, so you still get to see what's happening in the present, while cutting in and out of the past to get some character development from the other five punks to shake things up. It's the best of both worlds! ;D
Isn't all this sequel talk exciting?! Are you excited? Cause I'm excited! I've never been so excited!!! Well except for that one time when I went *GASP*....

Did anyone else notice Shane's Wikipedia page was updated to include 'Untitled 10' under his film credits? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_AckerI don't see any notes or refs relating to it, so I'm gonna assume someone is messing with his page :/

Yeah, that's a little... sketchy. XD The only time I've ever heard "10" being officially referenced as a sequel title was as a joke. I'd think it would just be titled 9, but with a subtitle. Like 9: Adam and Eve, or something. Just as an example. XP

Plus since they deliberately stopped at 10 because 10 was meant to represent perfection, which is unattainable ... yeah XD I doubt they'd choose that as a title.

I would read all 10 pages, and check to see if this idea has been proposed already, but I'm too excited. Anyway, what if there ARE other stitchpunks who've been around since the original stitchpunks were made, and have kept them in their radar all these weeks/months/years/whatever? Perhaps their creator was particular power-hungry, and thus these are the sorts of behaviors and attitudes these stitchpunks have, erm, inherited? So, after much studying, they obtained the knowledge to create/tame Beasts. With this knowledge and power, they will use it against 9, 7, 3 & 4... I can't offer a reason why.
Just an idea that sprouted.

That's a very tempting concept... I'm not sure if Acker would go for it in a sequel, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone had seized on the idea and run with it in a fanfic. I'd probably read it if they have!
