Yes Im expecting good stuff since Mr. Elfman is doing the composing. Im not normaly a soundtrack snatcher like how I use to be. I'll have to see if I like anything from it first.

Maybe a rock song for the credits, as for the rest, I'll let Dan Elfman do his work here.

Honestly, I want the entire soundtrack to be orchestrated. Maybe "Welcome Home" by Coheed and Cambria can play during credits or something, but that's about it. So I'm with Undeadscimitar on this one - I think that rock, pop, metal, etc., that's included in most movies cheapens the tone and the atmosphere. But then again, I'm a big fan of orchestral and instrumental music - so maybe that's just my opinion.
But I'm 100% certain that Danny Elfman will score plenty of eerie, eerie ambiences for its soundtrack!

Danny Elman's music is the coolest, I'm totally buying this soundtrack.

What songs do u think will be on it? besides the 2 obvious songs by the Knife and Cheed and Cambira Actually, I'm gonna guess those two probably won't be on it. Songs used in trailers usually don't show up in the actual film; I remember there was a lot of confusion back when the instumental version of the Servant's "Cells", used memorably in the trailer for Sin City, didn't make even a brief appearance in the movie itself, or on its official soundtrack release. So, yeah, for 9, I'm assuming we'll probably get an all-instrumental score. Which I've no problem with, myself.

9 -"Check out the 9 album and introduce yourself to the stitchpunk beings of 9!"-2 hours ago so looks like we're getting the album soon! w00t!!!!! but i've checked amazon and ebay, i have found nothing, so i'm kinda a little confused to why they said that, and yet they didn't post up a link or anything to where we can pre-order it!

I think they just meant the 9 album as in 9 photo album.

If the entire score is like the music on 9experiment.com, I don't think I'll be disappointed

The soundtrack was supposed to come out today. I drove to three different stores (Walmart, Hop Topic, FYE) and NONE of them have the soundtrack. WTH?
